    played in freerolls and sucked, read a few books, watched Rounders, and then i was awesome.cashed in a few freerolls, built it up a bit (roll and confidence) on 1/2cent tables.got a good summer job and took a chance, made a few hundred and went back every night i made enough in tips to cover at least the min buy in.

    try not to dislocate your shoulder patting yourself on the back, it'll hurt playing in all those juicy games.on another note, don't forget you can use all 5 cards on the board and the 2 in the hole in hold 'em, top pair on the flop doesn't always win. :club:

    Dude, there are a lot of places in the world with better/faster internet then in the US.
    i didn't say it was better/faster, don't get agitated, simply that it's unfortunate it takes awhile at times. not every american is trying to play the #1 cool dude better than you game....

    now most of us are doing this for fun/on the side outside our normal life requirements (school, work, thinking up funny posts, stripping, flying spaceships etc.) which dictates the time we can play but lately i've been the only native english speaker at my tables with the craziest (to a little american mind) city names for folk. i guess im just looking for people where i don't have to wait the full 15 or so seconds each time the action is on them and their computer from across the sea.... :club: ps - drinking, cheers
