  1. I bet/call the river. I would probably consider bet/ fold if SB calls and BB raises but I'm not sure. BB could suddenly decide on this river that his pocket queens must be still good here and checkraise out of nowhere. Maybe I give .10/.20 players not enough credit...I think I don't cap preflop since SB already cold called. Equity is probably still good vs. their ranges but I hate the playability of our hand against two opponents if we don't hit the set. If we cap preflop we give overcards better odds to continue with their hands on the flop. And we are also too commited to find a fold on bad
  2. we have position so check/call is not really an option.I think we should bet for value here if it gets checked to us and call if MP3 bet.
  3. If we get 3-bet on the flop we call down.villain could play a flush draw like that.
  4. I check-raise flop.Lead turn and lead river.Even if LP raised a limper PF. If he's standard TAG he could have 55+,A6s+,K9s+,Q9s+,J9s+,T9s,A9o+,KJo+,QJo. We have 67%eq. against that range.
  5. good river card for calldown, because we beat Q2 or something weird like that. Do you have any stats on button? His line makes no sense to me. Pocket deuces seem to be most likely. I've seen people calling the flop with deuces on 5/10 and even 10/20 so this wouldn't surprise me.
  6. VC Poker 1.00/2.00, hand converted by the iPoker Converter at Talking-PokerPreflop: Hero is on the Button with 4 4 3 folds, Hero raises, SB calls, 1 fold.Flop (5 SB) T J 5 SB checks, Hero bets, SB calls.Turn (3.5 BB) K SB checks, Hero bets, SB calls.River (5.5 BB) 7 SB checks, Hero checks.Do you valuebet river?SB is passive with 24vpip/13pfr/1.11AF after 100 hands.
  7. Here are two examples of my trouble hand pocket 8's. I was wondering if you'd play it the same.First hand: 3-bet flop? The raise could have been a weak King but QJ or weaker pocket pairs also raise there. On the turn of course I wanna checkraise.. Should we donk bet the turn instead? Disappointing pot..Second hand: Easy fold on the turn obviously, but do you call/checkraise/fold the flop?? And what about preflop? I decided to play it passively, because I didn't have reads.1) Prima Poker skinLimit Holdem Ring gameLimit: $2/$46 playersConverterPre-flop: (6 players) Hero is SB with 4 folds, Hero
  8. Just started playing short handed, so I'll post some hands, hopefully more interesting hands to come. What do you think about preflop? Continuation bet on the turn correct? Free card a no brainer I guess, and I think raising the river is +EV too here.vcpoker 2$/4$ (5-handed)Preflop: Hero is on the Button with J T1 fold, CO (poster) checks, Hero raises, 1 fold, BB calls, CO calls.Flop (6.5 SB) 2 9 QBB checks, CO checks, Hero bets, BB calls, 1 fold.Turn (8.5 SB) 9BB checks, Hero checks.River (8.5) 8BB bets, Hero raises... I won't say if BB 3-bets or calls here...
  9. I think I 3-bet preflop.I think I cap the flop with MP still in the hand for value and max protection.I think I cap the river.Nice hand.
  10. Check-raising the turn looks very strong. A scared opponent might make a tough laydown with KQ or so...I like the way the hand was played.
  11. I really doubt it. With raise and call ahead we should play small pps for set value only.
  12. better straight possibilities and payoff from lower sets which you won't get with set of deuces and less likely with 33 and 44.
  13. c/r/call down is very good. The only thing I'd be worried about is that villain might just check behind the turn. It's unlikely after the cap but I'd just hate to see it happen. Therefore I'm totally ok with hero's line without reads. With read that UTG is maniac I'd 3-bet the turn.
  14. I'd call 55 and 66 in this spot. Lower pairs I'd muck.
  15. FL 5$/10$ (9 handed)Preflop: Hero is SB with 5 , J :club:UTG+1 folds, UTG+2 calls, MP1 calls, MP2 folds, MP3 calls, 2 folds, Hero calls, BB checks.Flop: (5,00 SB) J , Q , 5 (5 players)Hero bets, BB calls, UTG+2 calls, MP1 calls, MP3 folds.Turn: (4,50 BB) A (4 players)Hero bets, BB folds, UTG+2 calls, MP1 raises, Hero calls, UTG+2 calls.River: (10,50 BB) 6 (3 players)Hero checks, UTG+2 checks, MP1 bets, Hero calls, UTG+2 folds.Final Pot: 12,50 BBQuestion: Should we try for a checkraise on the flop?? Or is it correct to lead the flop as played since there was no preflop raise.
