  3. When I got home I asked Cali if she knew who won and I was extremely pleased to discover Rose beat them all. There's a few bucks now to keep you off the streets. Thankfully, I was able (with the help of my girl Booty) to keep up with the exits of all 10 bounties. Posting who they are and then learning who took them out is by far the toughest part of these deals. Practice makes perfect...........who's having a birthday next?

  4. Gee, let me add to my post count by pointing out the fact that as a regular player in the Negreanu Opens on Tuesdays and Wednesdays I rarely allow 2 minutes to go by without comment about something or another. I'm sure that other regulars in those games probably wish I'd STFU sometimes. You may not like my lurker status but imagine the possibilities if this board had yet another regular contributor, capable of correctly spelling most words and having the ability to assemble complete sentences with independent thought. I don't think some could accept the competition.

  5. I really do find the complaints rather humorous. A couple of us (affiliated with a large number of sites) post a game offering up a hundred dollars in bounties out of our own pockets and we here crying from people who wouldn't attend the tourney anyway. WTF am I suppose to do, find every one of you at the tables personally to invite you? I've supported this site and a few of it's activities. If I choose to be a lurker here most of the time, is that a crime?Lastly, when I posted a tourney a couple months back, the suggestion was that maybe there should be a "catagory" for "upcoming games" so the General Forum wasn't cluttered with this information. Where is it? I hardly consider announcing a poker game on a poker forum where cash prizes are part of the mix spam. But then again, you guys have all the answers.

  7. Hey, sorry, I didn't mean to anger anyone and your suggestion is worth considering Tehtoe. I really think the remedy is to have a "Nightly Games" Catagory Pinned so that the board isn't cluttered with unnescessary added posts, however, I don't get to make that call.Yes, there was also another game mentioned earlier which is a $20 game TOMORROW night. It was posted today to allow people an opportunity to plan ahead but I can see where there might be confusion. In large part, PokerStars shares the bulk of the blame in that players are not allowed to "recruit" at the tables. It violates their spamming policies. That silly rstriction forces groups attempting to build a base for their games to do so in ways such as this. Previously (at the old Paradise Poker) I belonged to a private group of Omaha hi/low8 players that hosted several tourneys each night and routinely had as many as 200 players in each. Paradise was so grateful for our efforts that they offered cash rewards because we marketed their product for them better than they marketed it themselves. That's kind of what we're trying to achieve here, a private group that has so much fun that people ask around to get the password for.

  8. Perhaps rather than flame a random player who innocently sits at a poker table expecting to play a game with members of a forum she plays with twice each week, someone should have realized that a random player was at the table and didn't understand what was happening and stopped the game to explain. Better yet, maybe you should actually plan these things out and use some safeguards. If you don't want random players, changing the password for these "special events" might be an option. Further, maybe something should be said in the tourney window saying "See the official thread on Full Contact Poker for details about how to play the game" Maybe even say something in the tourney window other than "Welcome to the games" might have been a tip off. Getting the thread pinned might even have been considered. The childish behavior of those outspoken few who chose to complain rather than explain says volumes about their character. Classy, very classy.
