  1. I was wondering what level bankroll you have to be playing $20-$30 sng's.As I have been playing the $5.50's for just over a year but last week decided to invest in my bankroll another $100 and start playing the at the next level $11.I have had a great run as I find the play slightly poorer and bluffs easier to push through, having now cashed in 20 of 21 games. Now with just over $600 on my account do you think it is too early to move up to $22 sng's?Do I need a bigger BR?Thanks in advance for your comments.
  2. One considers oneself an atheist.I do not pray to a God nor a Jesus nor Mohammed etc etc, am I therefore an atheist?I have had near death experiences and I beleive 100% in the "after-life".This is serious so not intended for humour.......I lost a relative and found their body, upon entering the room in which they lay I felt an overpowering sense of love and warmth that of which I have never felt, spiritual if you like. Many other 6th sense "happennings" have blessed my life but do I subscribe to a religion or God? NO i do not.I respect others faiths but follow none myself. However I have no d
  3. I have a school-boy crush on Evangeline Lilly {Kate} in the tv series LOST.and i am 34yrs of age!!!!.No serious poker playing can remove her image from my frontal lobe. Please help bust me out of this delightful predicament. Maybey I should get another wallpaper for my desktop for starters
  4. How big is your pay cheque v how long can you go without playing poker?Think about being broke and there's no money to play with compared to how consistantly you play. How much do you need that money your going to give away on a turn of a card?If none of these factors relate to you then you're either Bill Gates or Stone Broke already. So don't Worry be Happy! :-) :-) :-)
  5. don't disrespect the money :eh: :hand:
  6. It is still hard to make the money and to show something for a 150min+ time investment is better than walking away with nothing.Sure if you get to final tables on a week-in week-out basis then stay away!I am a consistant top 5-10% of the field placer and if i get the buy-in back it's another tourney and that means a lot to me on a limited BR.
  7. Only took me like a year to reach a buck tourney final table on PStars but I am really pleased now I finally had the luck to do it.Luck, yes I say luck 'cos down to last 10 places and low stacked i went all-in withh 88 and beat AA on the river with a poker god sent third 8. :-) :boohoo: That really sucked for the other guy but after this has happened to me so many times I guess it was my turn to be on the right side of a bad beat.So nh to myself :snooty:
  8. I've been playing 2/4c NL on PStars for the last few weeks and here you are going to get all the worst plays you could ever encounter!Thing is I don't mind I expect it!!!! If you have some experience playing poker and you think you are good you should be able to adjust your game to the loose play you are going to encounter online. The first and worst mistake you can make is to loosen up yourself and join in with all these bad plays because you see them getting paid off. Tighten up, play only above average hands and raise preflop :!: Aim to win with 2pair as a minimum, if you only have to
  9. thanks for the bump spademan Hey teneight, great avatar man! 8) Just what does "bump" actually mean? :?
  10. [/b]Hey buddy, your so busy smooching your own tail you haven't noticed your boyfriend sat in the corner waiting for his turn!
  11. I missed that, what was the state of play? Please elaborate......
  12. Yes, that is a great show, another programme that channel 4 killed off!My favourites from those few series show Dave The "DevilFish" Ulliott at his very best. A lesson in aggressive poker for everyone at any level of the game.Of course, Phil Helmuth  at his very worst, when he goes all-in in the semi against the French guy and loses then denies he said all-in until he sees he pushed his chips over the line, end of argument! Plus I think LNP had and still has the best studio atmosphere of any poker show to date and the commentary was pretty good too which can't be said very ofte
  13. Always? Do you ever adjust your style of play to your opponents, or do you always match your tables to your style? What do you do when your table becomes TAG, through people coming and going? Do you just leave and find another table? Do you observe a table for atleast an orbit before sitting down? Do you play MTTs, where your tablemates are out of your control? I think you got it right just there, of course you have to "know" your opponent but at the same time if I find I'm playing with guys with a similar strategy to me then of course I hate it because the I know it's going to be a reall
  14. What do you watch and whats your fave?Any of these?.........WSOP or WPT on the Challenge channel (sky 121),Poker Night Live on Poker Zone (sky 226) or,anything on The Poker Channel (sky 265) or,odd stuff on the Travel channel? For me you can't beat the WSOP and WPT but we don't seem to get that stuff often enough, by that I mean every week of the year as these are classy shows.Any UK residents out there got any views?
  15. I really only show a hand about twice a week, if it's on a bluff then only to a low stack so as to get him pissed off enough to go on tilt and get busted- out.Otherwise if I have had a chat with a guy and I just won with the nuts to a fold then I would show as long as he wasn't a threat.Apart from these shows of weakness I NEVER let anyone know what I had as I am a tight-aggressive player and I would be doing myself an injustice.
