  1. Am I the only one who is pissed off about this? I won a seat almost two months ago, and I've been extremely excited about this. I will not be able to play the new online final date because of a conflict that has existed for over a year. I will hopefully be able to get a refund, but I think it's despicable to change the date of this tournament just because they're worried about paying the overlay. If you're not planning on putting up the money, DONT SCHEDULE THE TOURNAMENT.I think this is especially ironic given Daniel's stance on the WSOP and how their schedulers are complete morons. How
  2. why'd you go allin on that a9 hand? You had plenty of chips for a decent reraise and fold if he pushes back. Seems like the pot wasn't big enough.
  3. EV stands for expected value, aka the amount you are expected to win taking into account all possible factors. If they 'didn't care about EV', they would play hands with negative EV and would lose money on them. Clearly their playing style has positive EV, because they are so successful.
  4. shell out the $20 or whatever it costs for harrington's book, it's great.
  5. if you know he has TT it's an easy call. If there's a possibility of AA or KK it's less easy, but I think you still make it, especially since he might be on a bluff with AQ or something
  6. Ya, that guy played freakin awesome. We were at the same table the last 3 hours. I was glad to see him win.Do you know if he's a pro or not? I didn't see him make one mistake in 3 hours.I'm pretty sure it's his only source of income, so I guess you could call him a pro. He plays online only as far as I know, and makes a lot of money from various deposit bonuses. He's definitely never won anything close to this much before.
  7. yeah, the guy who won (darkryz) is actually an online acquaintance of mine. Pretty sweet ($210,000).
  8. another pokertracker question:I play on stars, where I believe the only way to get hand history is to have it emailed to you... I use gmail which apparently cuts it off at a certain amount of text, so I can only import 50-100 hands at a time... which I don't want to do. Is there any other way to do this? If I need to get a different email just for this, any reccomendations?
  9. err, that's what he said isn't it? I believe you did it correctly, not sure what gambit is saying you did wrong.
  10. the sample size is so small that it's pointless to compare it to what a good player gets.
  11. the only piece of advice you need is to read sklansky's small stakes holdem. Where are 10/20 games that loose btw?
  12. it's worth ~1.5 outs, so you need the pot to be HUGE to call a bet with just the flush draw, but it is possible.
  13. you do realize you're on daniel negreanu's site right... calling raises with 53 is not unheard of.
  14. yeah, once you've played for 273 hours, bad luck just disappears. It's kinda neat actually.
  15. clearly you don't know pot odds/outs etc, you can't just dismiss them because you 'dont like putting money in on a draw'a call will earn you money, period (unless they have an overset of course)
