  1. I don't like your open at all, it's a fold pre in a full ring game from early. Once you have got to the flop I would c-bet this flop almost 100% of the time to get some money in on the early streets and bloat the pot. If another club comes your action is killed or you're up against the Ace of clubs. 2nd hand, I dont think its awful to call his ship as he has seen you open light earlier on and may think you are laggy but I think it is better to flat the 3bet. I only really play 6 max cash though... Also don't take to heart what people say. Ask him to justify his points, you may find you complet
  2. Villain in MP3 - I had raised from CO or Button virtually every orbit and he had 3bet me once and called a couple of times the last few times so I think he views me as aggro. Villain on button - No reads, had only sat for a few hands after being moved. Is this a fold or shove???PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, 22 Tournament, 40/80 Blinds (9 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.comButton (t2960)SB (t10792)BB (t3000)UTG (t2218)UTG+1 (t3576)Hero (MP1) (t5804)MP2 (t8908)MP3 (t5162)CO (t2600)Hero's M: 48.37Preflop: Hero is MP1 with Q, Q2 folds, Hero bets t240, 1 fold, MP3 calls t240,
  3. Sample size is not great, only about 100 hands from a couple of sessions so take with a pinch of salt although I think they do provide an indicator. I would say at 6max 21/18 is more loose than TAG but not by a great deal.
  4. The 3bet is actually quite small so Villain could well be turning his 88-JJ into a bluff or he knows he is likely WA
  5. c/c turn and river is definitely the safest line but I think it misses too much value as Villian is less likely to bet 88-JJ on the river once the turn has been called so would most likely result in checking down. c/c turn and b/f river is maybe a slightly better line to get value from 88-JJ or KQ thinking I am FOS. I guess the big question is whether Villain calls the c/raise on the turn with worse and then calls a value bet on the river often enough or at all??Probably not in hindsight...
  6. Villain is 21/18/11 with 33 fold to 3bet and 50 flop CbetI checked flop expecting a cbet and plan was to call and c/call turn. When he bets turn i figure it for a one pair hand like 88-JJ, or maybe weak queens so I decide to raise for value. Then he repops me and I'm lost. Can I call down? Am I ever ahead here? 7. First level of the daily 30 grand. Villains have not done too much out of the ordinary in the first 10 hands. 8. For anyone who has suffered a bat beat recently this will cheer you up.Not for the easily offended, which I'm sure there aren't any of you around anyway.http://www.xtranormal.com/xtranormal/episo...090222182227485
  9. MP2 had been at the table for 3 orbits or so and had bet pretty much everytime he was checked toBB had been pretty quiet, had accumulated his stack b4 I sat down, was 16/12/infMy image was pretty loose, I had opened a lot of pots from position and c-bet 70% of the time or so and folded to a few raisesAs MP2 had been aggressive my plan was to c/r but when BB raises I'm not really sure where I'm at. If he has noticed my previous action he could easily be putting me on missing the flop and be doing this with flush draw or 89, 910 type hands.Doing it for value with 1010, JJ, or he has me crushed w
  10. Ok seems like a comletely butchered hand then! I donk out quite a lot onto boards like this with absolutley nothing into pre flop raisers at this level and it does take down a lot of pots as well as with marginal holdings and nut type hands, but maybe this time wasnt the right occasion. Donking also protects our hand against having it check through and a shitty turn card falling and having to check fold. I think CR is probably a better line in hindsight but I dont like c/c at all though as I'd probably have to fold the turn a lot so that seems much worse to me. My bet sizing is normally bigger
  11. When I went last september we played mainly in the Hard Rock poker room. That was pretty decent, plus the Hard Rock straddle is the one of the best inventions ever! Straddling from the button, and you'd be surprised the amount of people that don't do it!
  12. Had only been sitting for a couple of orbits, only hand Villian has been involved in was 2 hands previously when he was BB and shoved $25 into a $3 pot after rivering broadway holding AQ and was paid off by a flopped set!Onto the hand in questionPokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (8 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.comUTG ($65.10)UTG+1 ($44)MP1 ($87.60)MP2 ($50)CO ($52.55)Button ($75.65)SB ($56.20)Hero (BB) ($46.25)Preflop: Hero is BB with 9, 105 folds, Button raises to $1.50, 1 fold, Hero calls $1Flop: ($3.25) K, 9, 3(2 players)Hero bets $1.50, Button calls $1.50Turn
  13. Thanks for the responses, I got it all in on the flop but felt it was probably the wrong thing to do but I wasnt sure! Bloody Hold em player that I am!!!Villain did have the same straight and Q high club drawMP1 had 5678Button had the naked nut flush drawTurn was the 8c but I rivered a Q for a bigger full house! Man were they pissed at me!!! LOLZ!!
  14. Thanks for the responses, I felt just after the hand that the 4 bet was a bit suicidal if it got called or raised I was crushed. Villian folded flop so I guess we'll never know for sure what he had but only hand that I think fits would be QQ or the other JJ as I think he would have shoved KK pre and wouldnt fold any aces on the flop.
  15. I had seen him 3bet a couple of times, looking thru the stats now his 3bet percentage is 9.8.
