well poker caused me to drop out of first year of college.. then take a break from it and work full time in a factory for 8 months, then quit that and went back to college. i have actually benefited from all of that though, because now i appreciate an education for what it really is. and of course i play poker again! lol but balance them equally, and will probably pursue poker After i graduate from college. -

ah started and ended with the best hand. -
He said it was an error how he check/raised the flop, then bet big on the turn ( or river i forget ) when the card fell to complete a straight. in this situation if his opponent comes over the top with a big raise, he is forced to make a decision on if he thinks he has the straight or not. luckily his opponent folded.
-
yes, IF were flipping. we don't know for sure were flipping. were either a 4 to 1 dog or 50 / 50. odds are against you.
-
pretty simple, push preflop. fold flop. he's calling, too many draws / card combinations to where he wouldn't , and if he has a flush draw and a pair, your pretty much dead money.
-
umm i think your preflop raise was fine, unless people were playing super loose. i honestly think i would put him on like a 7s 8s with a pair and flush draw. Either way i think you were either losing, or just a coinflip. i fold also.
-
very similar to what i do.
-
i was going to reply till i saw the quote in your avatar.

Check river.most likely had a draw and didn't hit, but in case he was slowplayin into you, just check.dont wanna have to face a big re raise then have to make a decision.
-
your both funny. accept that there are different ways to play each hand, and not 1 correct way.

Jacks Against Flopped Under Cards

yah looks like an A K or A Q -
your good, im sure he has a lower two pair. only way i think your beat is if he played his 4 5 open ended real strong. i just call the river though, no raise just to be safe, already a big pot. i make a min. raise on the turn though, suckers can't get away from a min. raise so they often re-bluff. the min. raise is such a strong play online.
-
He does not have a set, you can count on that. he most likely is overplaying top pair, like most people do online. i push.
-
your wrong. you're pushing too early with hands that you should not be pushing with.. wait 1 or 2 more bb's until you have a much better hand to get your money in with.
-
dont resemble weekness.. if you bet flop bet the turn also, get raised then you probably fold.
-
told ya he had a royal flush : ) most people wont call $20 preflop with Ks9s or Qs9s.
-
I wouldn't rule out the possibility of him having a higher flush... If he turned a set or two pair, or even flopped it, i believe he would of pushed, or raised big, on the turn. I can't picture someone calling $54 on the turn with 99. Of course i didn't play with him so have no idea his level of donkishness. I'm actually going to put him on a Ks Qs royal. when do we find out what he had?

i think greg raymer has definitely established himself... after winning it then coming up like 40th the next year out of the largest field yet.. very impressive. also he won that WCOOP online event lol so shows he wasn't all luck.
