watIf we lose a flip, we rebuy. Period. If we're 60/40 and we loose, we know we put our money in good and our only regret should be that we didn't put more money in.If he has AA/KK, make a note on the player.Unless I have a gread read on this player (e.g. he has done this before with AA, he's a super-super nit,...), this is an instacall with AKs. Assuming of course that we're not playing above our level. BR management FTW. -
Instacall. The SB is our only concern here. There's really no hand he can overbet the pot like this with that has *us* beat. At these stakes, this is usually 99 or higher going crazy. Probably QQ actually, many people flatcall with that hand in the SB to see if an A or K comes up. And then donkoverplay it when the board is "safe".The flushdraw has one less out because you have the Kc. And it's not even certain that one is drawing to the nut flush so you have a redraw if a club comes.Care to send me results in pm?

Of course it'll win you money. After playing this hand, I remembered a hand on HSP. Someone (might even be DN) flopped the nut straight, then flatcalled a raise to let a card come off. That made me wonder if *anyone* would do the same thing in a situation like the one I described in the OP.

This hand led to an interesting discussion between me and a friend:Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (9 handed) Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)MP2 ($9)Hero ($63.85)CO ($22.50)Button ($11)SB ($30)BB ($38.50)UTG ($61.10)UTG+1 ($19.50)MP1 ($48)Preflop: Hero is MP3 with A, J. The problem with the reraise is that you're only getting called by a hand that has you beat. Even more so, you're most likely completely dominated. Even if she calls with something like K-J, you're only a small favourite. I usually flatcall and see what the flop brings.

If this is a tournament, and I suppose it is because you're talking about the blinds not yet being an issue, I would fold here. If you're certain that you are a better player, you should be able to outplay him after a flop. Of course, if the blinds start to become a problem, you should call here if you put him on Q-high.In a cashgame, I guess it depends on the amount of money involved. If it's just some friends playing for a few bucks, I would call here, assuming that I'm putting my money in good. Even if I lose, I probably wouldn't care much. If there's a lot of money involved, I wouldn't lik
