  4. Personally I hate the donk bet. He took the lead, let him continue to take the lead, then c/r him. If he has a better pair then jacks, he is gonna be r/r you a lot there with the fd out there. With a pair worse then jacks, 1010/99 he may even call thinking your c/r the fd. As played, make that turn bet 11.50-13 next time for sure. If hes calling you down with a flush draw you want to charge him the maximum. River Im check/calling, but I think a lot of good players(of which I'm not one, lol) would take the bet/fold line, because especially if hes tight hes never raising with worse there o
  5. He has been playing kinda tight, but I also have been three betting a hefty amount since the bb has been raise folding almost every time on the button. I dont know, I think Outsider is correct, I just need to be shoving here. What do you think?

  7. late in the 3r. Our M is 3, which is the obv case for a shove. But I think this is much closer then people will think. We have very little fold equity, and our hand is dominated quite a lot from a ep raiser. I wanted to see what you guys thought. 10. So can lurkers play in this? Ive stalked this site every day for the last two years(true story!), but don't want to crash the party if its not ok....
  11. I think getting better than 6 to 1 I am never folding there. I'm aware that, as in the above hand, it puts in me very tough spots some times....but I think folding when you already have 150 in is a mistake. As far as the hand goes, I hated that board when I saw it, a full house obviously fits perfectly with a limped in pot. But when they only min-bet, I couldn't bring myself to fold it. I did fold to the shove on the turn though, thinking there is no way he does that with a straight....

  13. A live tourney at the casino, down to the final 7 people. Blinds are 6000/12000. The table had been aggressive until the last two levels. Since then it has seemed that they have become scared of the big blinds, and have become tentative. They either limp in, or push all-in, no one has just raised pre-flop. 16. If the antes are 25, you have enough chips to last five full times around the table. If they are 50 you have enough chips to last four times around. At a full table if they were 50 I push, if they are 25, I wait. Because you are at a table of 6 those numbers are misleading. Your BB is coming at you quicker, and so your position doesnt really matter. Your stack is big enough to hurt anyone at the table. And the fact that there are 17 people left and 11 get paid means that hands that might call you and have you dominated, like A8 thru A10 will almost definitely fold here and even somethin
  17. I think you bet the river here. If he had position on you, I might check, considering he could have something like 7 8, or 6 9 for the straight. But the fact that he checks to you on the river and that he has just continually check called you down makes me think he has something like A 7 or A 8. Bet 11-15 here and hope he's not one of those slow-playing smurfs that will just call down with K K.
  18. If he check raises the turn and the villian goes all-in here your faced with a tough decision. I don't think he has K K here but I do think JJ is a reasonable hand for him. I just call the turn and the river and am happy with the 67.
