  1. Yeh I don't really see why you'd do anything else?
  2. This is almost as good as Rove's WSJ piece
  3. I'm fairly certain it's the same for most people, but I definitely do that.
  4. I used to think it was wrong that my government taxes cigarettes and alcohol so heavily, but then i realised that we also have to pay for the health costs caused by people smoking. Personally, I think out system needs to strongly consider less subsidizing for health costs for certain conditions such as lung cancer (caused by smoking) and non-hereditary obesity.
  5. I'm sucking at poker today more than I thought, and I can't even download the latest 24 episodes as something is making bitcommet real slow. GG life.
  6. It really sucks that the games are the best i've ever seen today but my head is scrambled and i'm playing pretty poorly today. 7. It's not unprofessional at all. Gus isn't some random no-brain rich kid that doesn't understand what it means when the wait list is full every time he plays. He knows full well what everyone else thinks of his abilities and he doesn't care, Galfond says it in chat regularly.
  8. I would 3-bet PF but I think the flop is totally fine.
  9. What do you think about re-raising bigger on the flop? There's a lot of bad turn cards that can come and once he raises this board I think he's going to call an $75-80 raise as much as he will a $60 one.
  10. For a second there I thought you were back playing HU LHE.
  11. Not sure what the general consensus is on this, but I've always thought Obama is very over-rated in terms of public speaking. He can read pretty well from an auto-cue (though I hate the way he ends sentences sometimes and he seems like a bit of a one-trick-pony) but he stumbles non-stop when he has to speak without a prepared answer and he even mentioned in his book that he was clumsy speaker at times.
  12. To all the Pro's out there, if you're willing to say, how much of your overall winnings do you declare to the IRS? I would imagine that with the nature of poker it wouldn't be very hard to only report half your overall profit for a year without too many alarm bells ringing. Though I have no real idea of any stipulations regarding this,
  13. Again, slippery slope arguments aren't arguments.

  15. I'm not saying to what extent or whatever with that, I'm just getting sick of people like LMD putting words in other people's mouth's and massively exaggerating every body else's point of view. Him and Henry act as if everyone who argues against their so called 'freedoms' are a registered facist who's fighting for a return to 1984 society.
  16. I noticed that straight away too, I also thought that near the end he didn't actually say all that he was supposed to say which none of the commentators seemed to mention.
  17. The only people who created that idea are the people like LMD who wanted to argue against something no one was arguing for.
  18. Yeah incase you're new to High stakes, Gus Hansen is massive whale to all the nosebleed PLO regs.
  19. The way I see it, very often is a relative term that is determined by the situation and context it's used in and not an absolute %.
  20. What the hell is happening to the Eagles?
