  2. Tbh if you're playing $50nl I don't think you need half as many stats as that. Not because it's easier, but because the player pool is so huge that you never get enough hands with people to make the rarer stats mean anything.
  3. WCGRider: 10 cent/25 centPhil Gordon: what?Phil Gordon: 0.10-.25?Phil Gordon: i'd be willing to bet the house against thatAmSlim22: back the truck upAmSlim22: :-)Phil Gordon: even playing 10 tables at a time, you'd need to win $30 per table per hour for 400 hoursNYRAJF (Observer): love the back the truck up referencesWCGRider: i played 24 tables last timePhil Gordon: not possible
  4. I agree with Krantz -t’s about time the media stopped focusing on Miley Cyrus and started focusing on something really important…like getting stoned. Thing is, especially with the Phelps piece, they’re missing out on the actual story. How insane it is that Michael Phelps, the American archetype of determination, dedication, and possibly the greatest athlete we’ve ever produced AT THE VERY LEAST gets stoned every once in a while. Just my two cents.
  5. Phil Galfond made a 9 high call against Benyamine a week ago, it was just ridiculous. Sick life
  6. This will be amazing if it works properly
  7. Did I just read a Republican calling the democratic vice president stupid? Pot, meet kettle...
  8. John I believe is the first person to win more than $1 million in a poker tournament? Also as mentioned the guy who started the EPT, and annoyingly for him he isn't allowed to play in any of the events.
  9. Odd co-incidence -http://freakonomics.blogs.nytimes.com/2009...estate-dilemma/
  10. It's because FTP has weird blind levels like 160/320 no?
  11. High school student.Despite being two years over the legal working age I still have never had a job.
  12. They're pretty cool. It' exactly my style of music so I'm inclined to like them I guess. I think they're a bit too direction less in places and don't quite have the ambient orchestrating they need to make such long songs work, but I like them.
  13. For anyone considering this I would reccomend TSkillz most definitely. I would say his experience at actually playing low stakes for a long time would make him a very good coach(who I would be asking if I weren't already being staked). Jesus christ that's one of the most insane things I've ever heard
  14. He didn't specify how bad they were, but I think it's incredibly unlikely anyone's getting in 44 no diamonds on this flop. Against two players with this much action, you have to be putting them on at least two pair+. A set is very likely and another thing to consider is that you very rarely have 9 full flush outs facing this action.
  15. Not to say this the wrong way, but are you sure you should be playing $100NL HU if you don't realise how easy this stack off is? I've played 30k hands of low level HU and I literally cannot think of a single opponent that I would even fold AK pf to.
  16. I don't know whether i'm mentally incapable of winning without showdown, but whatever I do seems to end up as a bigger failure than what I was doing before.I decided that I needed to be more aggressive in general and bet the turn more and stuff, so today I donked off two buy-ins to the spewiest hands ever. For your enjoyment-http://www.pokerhand.org/?3775383 and http://www.pokerhand.org/?3775392And despite playing like that, I still lose $20 in non-SD pots over 400 hands. Well played me imo.
