i think it depends on where in the U.S. you live. i've lived in Seattle my whole life and there's little to no social tension between the GLBT community and the heterosexual community. in fact, they're not really two separate communities at all. there's not much differentiation anymore. i guess i'm just lucky to live in a socially-progressive area.maybe Seattle is the Canada of the Unites States.

When I won the biggest pot I have ever won, I thought I was playing for play money. I accidently sat down at a real money NL $2000 table when I only intended to fuck around at a play money table. I played heads up for ten minutes and won $2000. I think the biggest pot was around $1000. for a lot of SH limit games, you might need as much as 500BB, maybe even more. 300BB is by no means a "conservative" estimate. it's more of a minimum a lot of the time.
