  1. I made the final table in the $555 Nl holdem WSOP Circuit Event today! I am the chipleader with 458k with the average at 180k. I played great all tourney and I had a big chip stack the entire day. $30,000 for 1st place and a $5,000 seat into the WSOP Circuit Main Event at the Horseshoe on friday. It starts today at 2pm at the Horseshoe Casino Hammond right outside of Chicago. I don't think the final table will last a long time because there are a lot of shorter stacks. I have met a few Chicago area fcp'ers over the first 2 days I've played at the Horseshoe and they all seemed like really nice guys. There is a seating area for the final table if anybody wants to watch. :4h:ts:5c:D:club:
Pretty standard post these days. :D ..GLGLGLGL
  2. Did they play many old cuts? I would assume most of the show would be from the Red Album, and that stuff is awful.Grooving on Destroyer's Trouble in Dreams album, also Roots Manuva's Run Come Save Me output is still dope.
They did played a TON of old stuff. 5 songs off the blue album. Only 3 songs of the Red album I think maybe 4. But mostly old stuff and did a cool version with Tom Delong of the Sweater song. Then brough about 50 hs and college kids up on stage with like 30 different kinds of instruments for a jam version of Island in the Sun. I like going to shows u can sing to and have fun instead of some band dropping a 30 min version of a bside song. Overall give the show a 9 of 10....only Bruce goes 10-10.

  4. That was a lot better than I expected!'I promise not to hit you if you promise not to make me mad.''Jane Champagne' is also excellent.
thanks he is getting some good responses. Our friend works in the senate and it's been passed around all day.
  5. I got 444,400 and could have had more in a pot with DevilFish. He raised I called from SB with KJ. Flop J-9-2 I check, he bets 15k, I raise tro 45k, he goes all in for like 30k more. He shows J-10, turn Ace, river 2- chop it up. All is well though, nap time now and then I'll continue to cruise. As for the question, it is not a coincidence that I'm often able to maintain a big stack for longer stretches while a player like Hoyt can dominate with one- or be the next one out, lol. There is no question that the small ball approach works even better when you have a big stack. The bigger the better. It allows you the freedom of sticking to the "system" and not bluffing. I swear to you, I attempted one bluff yesterday and that's the only one I've tried the whole tournament. With a big stack, there is no need for unnecessary risk in marginal situations. I promise you I'm right, plus, iwith an amazing structure the small ball approach is unquestionably the absolute best and most consistent approach to winning big tournaments.
In other words....Check out Poker VT...15% off right now!!!!
  6. Have I?I will admit that I have no idea about anything anymore. USC and Florida losing has thrown me off my game. I saw them both undefeated at the end of the season.
