  1. theyre totally running on emotion so i doubt they can win in boston but it sure makes boston look beatable
yeah when they got down by 11 in the 3rd I said well the emotion is over but it was fun why it lasted. But they just kept on going. They cant win in Boston but they are the youngest team in NBA and can build on this.however Woodson is a horrible coach and this will prob save his job even though he has no idea when and when not to call timeouts. He is just not very good. But on to game 5 and they def will be playing 6
  2. Nice to see the ATL love. I sat through like 5 dismal seasons, taking unreal shit for it, so I've got some serious street cred. I will never find the energy to wake up before 6pm to actually go to one of their four games (edit: it now additionally occurs to me that only two of these are in ATL, and it would probably be fairly pricey, at this point, so it's a doubly lost cause) this playoff year, but you can bet I'll be too drunk to care before Boston is up more than 10, and I'll be yelling horrible obscenities at Garnett at such a volume that my stay in the majority of sports bars would be largely undesirable if not abbreviated. So...Applebees' it is.
Yeah I cant wait for tonight...we dont have a chance but, its good to be in. I act have cheap tixs for game 3. Game is 830 sat night Ill sell them to you for 15 dollars a piece..since your fcp. They are up top but at center court. PM me if you want them.
  3. There's not really anything wrong with it but it will limit your growth as a player. In order to advance as a player you need experience playing with a deep stack. Deeper than the 100BB max buy in. Specially if there are other big stacks at the table its good to stick around and get the experience. If you have 10% of your bankroll on the table when you triple up it means your playing too high. If you're afraid of having 3 buyins on the table you're playing too high. If your choice is playing scared or leaving it's better to leave but these are all things that you need to learn and get over as you develop as a player.
Good advice..Like I said I mainly play tournies just starting to play cash..I was playing with 5% of my "cash" bankroll on this one site. I have alot more ,I set myself a cash limit since Im really not that good at cash yet. But I think your right I need to stay with a bigger stack and learn that way cause I would rather play live and no way ever would I leave a table after winning a big pot.
  4. Obviously you don't "owe" anyone anything at that point, but personally, I'd hang at least a couple orbits and only play strong cards if/when you do. That's just good etiquette. If you were JJ or A7 in the same situation, would you be pissed if the villain left? Methinks yes.But bigger picture, you're going to get back into the game at some point (the metagame and all), so why not stay there for a bit? If you're that worried about your BR immediately after tripling it, you shouldn't be playing at that limit. But more important, you've established a willingness to call with marginal hands and people will be gunning for you. Sounds like the perfect opportunity to get paid on good cards and multiply your BR a few more times.
thanks for the advice...it wasnt my full bankroll..I usually play with 5%-10% max at any given time. Like I said I felt a lil guilty. I prob should've stayed a lil longer.
  5. I know this has prob been discussed but, I'd like some insight. Going back to Chris Fergusons podcast where he went from 1 to 10k or whatever it was he said, he played with 5% of his broll and whenever he dup..he waited till the blinds got back to him and left. Now I have a decent bankroll but I mainly play tournies and I'm learning to play cash now. I realize it's a whole other beast. I mainly played limit but now I've switched to no limit cash. I was playing 1-2 when this happen in my FIRST hand. Im In the BB and a guy raises it to 2 dollars and gets 4 calls I have 65h I call and flop is 78k all hearts..org raisers insta goes all in and gets one call...and its for all my money I think 70 bucks and both have me covered..I think org has a big pair and the caller prob the ace of hearts, so I say whatever I call also..maybe not a great call I dont know I have a made hand and a oe st flush draw. Well I was right one guy had JJ the other a7 with ace of hearts. brick brick and I triple up. Now thats a huge pot for me,thats 2 more buy ins. Is it ok if I leave after that hand, even though it was my first hand. I waited till blinds and left but part of me didn't know if that was alright?

  6. What a great blog.First do I think Daniel is Gay..NO Would I care if he was..NOToday I got a facial which I'm sure will fuel the gay rumors even further, lol.Is this line SOLID GOLD..YESGL and TID and eat there children(mike tyson)

  7. I don't have any picks, but I would like to see an English guy take it down. The closest we've come in recent years that I recall was Luke Donald in the US open finishing second to Tiger. Harrington won one, but he is Irish.Justin Rose is sitting at -4 at the top of the leaderboard right now so that gives us a tiny glimmer of hope.
Im pretty sure Harrington never won the Masters. He did win the British last yr....But, Rose is off to a great start and hes a solid player. But sunday at the Masters is not for the weak. I would like to see him go deep in this but if you havent been there before its gotta be tough. But hey Zach Johnson did it last yr.
