  1. I prefer a shove. Looks more like a draw, and you're going to get it in anyways... A smallish minraise will be too strong, and he could fold things like AJ, A10, etc. Whereas, vs a shove, I think we can stack him a little lighter.
  2. I don't like this. Why flat call on the flop? Seriously, just get it in.Edit: Why would he be bluffing on this flop? You led into two people and he's going to raise you on a bluff? That doesn't make any sense. Either he has AK or a flush draw - either way, punish him. Also, raise preflop.
  3. Do you use tracking software? Against an unknown I fold, but it would help to know how often he does this, etc. Poker is an information war.
  4. I bet 1.10. Also, The value bet with QQ is standard and not thin.
  5. I don't know what you guys are arguing about, but it sounds dumb.
  6. Aristotle says that to truly understand something, you must know its origin. You can't just claim that the bible is the word of god and not give reasons for it. Why should I believe you? What if I came to your house and cut your legs off with a chainsaw, and, while sitting in a pool of your own blood you asked me, "Why did you do that?" And I respond, "God told me to. He's tired of you spreading lies about his work." How would you know the truth? Would you be ok with me cutting your legs off? After all, it's the word of god. How come we don't see more modern day Abrahams? 2000 years and not one
  7. That may be true, but you did not call the flop My point is that we do not have "SSSSOOOO many [great] turns..."
  8. The only great turn card is a deuce. You guys make it sound like we have a royal draw.
  9. Too many people are abusing the word 'float' in this thread. I guess 'float' is the new 'call'.As for the shove, I think it's pretty bad. Unless villain is passive/weak (which, he doesn't appear to be, since he potted this float after a preflop raise) he is not going to lay down an overpair. If you were deepstacked, then I would like a raise. You're only going to get AK to fold, so you're not achieving any extra FE with a shove.
  10. lol. I was actually close to folding after he shoved - I really thought the SB had jacks, but I convinced myself he could have flatted with 10s at the last minute. Is this a bad call? I don't feel like looking up stats, but they're both 22ish/13ish.What could the SB be calling with? Let's just assume his has a normal aggression factor and stats.Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (5 handed) - Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.comSB ($67.10)BB ($27.15)UTG ($47.40)MP ($76.65)Hero (Button) ($67.90)Preflop: Hero is Button with 3, 6UTG calls $0.50, 1 fold, Hero calls $0.50, SB bets $3.50
  11. Oh, my bad. I thought this was last year. That's why I was confused.
  12. How often do you play, babs? 85k doesn't seem like very much to me.
  13. Recorded a session. It was so weird and all over the place. It's kind of a big DL though. Here's the graph: http://stevewillard.com/lawlsession.pngAnd the vid: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=5IG7IR6M
  14. Language we can understand? Please, tell me, how do we understand the definition of omnipotence?
  15. Isn't shoving such a weird line, though? If he's sitting there with a jack, what would he put you on? I think in order for your story to be believable, you should have raised him earlier to get stacks in.I think this is a pretty weird spot. I would normally raise him on the flop or turn, but as played I would c/c the river. I think he's still going to value bet KJ/AJ and maybe QJ. That paired 7 is actually pretty good if flopped bottom two.

  17. I guess that does make me feel better.I'm surprised 5s had more equity than me, but I knew the 46h was owning me in equity.

  19. Yeah, folding is correct I think.I had to throw the picture onto my webserver and use that URL.I played 25NL up until about 700. I wanted to wait for 20 BIs to move up, but I've played 50NL quite a bit and I'm very comfortable at that level so I jumped a bit early. So basically just 25 and 50NL. The 'V' at the end there was my silly 100NL adventure haha. When I hit 20-22 BIs for 100NL I'll move up.
