  1. I hate when I know I'm beat, but they make such a good bet at the end, I guess thats the whole point of value betting, if they're bluffing 1 in 10 it's profitable? But it still is kind of silly to know you're beat and call anyway. One of the great mysteries of poker.
  2. arithmetic is for losahsgg, great cash, funny story, all you need now is a hot girl and a hot dog shaped car.
  3. HU beats are the worst, it's so hard to hit a flop, let alone hit a flop where they'll stack off while dominated, only for them to hit a 2 outer, or a runner runner 3 outer, what is life, i ask myself, because this isn't real. Oh well, just keep fightin' the good fight, we like to think that in the long run we end up on top.
  4. lol, that is pretty cute. I guess the hand you got st8 flushed on was bad cause you got it in without a good draw, sucks that you hit the boat and lost anyway though. Oh well, I was playing pretty snug and had taken a couple small pots, so I figured everything was going my way, lol.
  5. I downloaded pokertracker today to try it out, I was confused as ****. I never saved my tournament results emails from stars so I got no usefull tourney info. gHey. I kind of think it's a little silly that the hand histories saved on your HDD don't include the buyin amount and your finish.
  6. I would think the main reason why nobody owns these things outside of casinos is the fact that reverse engineering would be very -EV. There's no such thing as a perfectly random mechanical shuffle, so some smart *** with a degree in mechanical engineering and mathematics might crack one open and BOOM. Not very likely, but you can see why they don't sell them to the public.
  7. lol, he gave up on the draw, but didn't even try to bluff, that is weird. He must of done some kind of donkey dance when he won the pot, lol
  8. I check, keep the pot small, and call down any bets.
  9. I pause to think, then call, and check the turn to inspire the bluff, kind of dangerous, but whats to be scared of?
  10. I play HORSE tourney's, and I've found the best strategy for razz is to just fold. Good luck trying to figure this game out, it's not possible.
  11. easy shove, if you're behind you've got the nut draw, + fold equity, standard.
  12. I'm kind of new to this whole "online" poker thing, so sorry if this is a dumb question, but where is the button that lets you change your hole cards?
  13. Live and learn, I wanted to just call, but my damn hold 'em instincts kicked in and i had to drag that slider. Didn't stop to think, what would he call with that I beat?? ...nothing.
  14. AIPF yes, but if you're just raising I don't want to see a flop 3 ways.
  15. I think I would have folded, you might be ahead of his range, but i think it's pretty close, and the button limp is fairly suspicious, he should be raising automatically with the big stack on the button. As played, it's tough, if you're up against any pair higher then 6 you're way behind, you're dominated by any better ace, and I don't see the button re shoveling with a weaker ace. It's a tough fold but I trust my HU skillz and take the 2nd place money garuntee, as played I fold.
  16. Fold pre flop.As played, Shovel, it's unlikely you're terribly behind, and you've got outs if you are. If you're drawing dead gg, jump in another.
  17. First hand I hate to give up control of the hand, but it looks like you're either way ahead or way behind, I'd make a strong bet on the turn, maybe 1400, and if he's still interested hope to hit the straight on the river, maybe trips. If not, check?? tough spot.Second hand i'm not folding, value bet the river. I don't get the two check raises, after the first one he has to know the you know that he's strong, but you still bet behind his check. This is either a poorly played 2-pair or set, or perhaps AA. As played I bet the pot on the river, and hope he doesn't have a hand he can let go of.
  18. Less overcards to dodge? Ax, and KQ are bad, but not beyond calling the 3x BB raise, if you happen to flop 10 hi or lower then you get to shove, but with 2 callers and an overcard you have to think one of them hit it. gross.
  19. This early, I usually don't like to build the pot very big, even with a preemo hand like KK, you could argue for the strong pre flop raise to get the limpers out, I honestly wouldn't expect this much action with that large of a raise in the BB, but now the pot is almost unmanageable, people see all the chips and will get in with a lot less then the best hand here, Usually I like to bet at least half the pot heads up, and maybe 3/4ths with this many people, but then we're pot committed. This is a tough spot, I'd probably call and hope they're all idiots, and when you run into a set gg me.
  20. +1I do this in my home games, after taking a terrible beat, I'll pick raise my hand like i'm going to throw it, then take a deep breath and calmly place it down on the table, all my friends let out a sigh of relief, then i stand up, pick my chair over my head, and throw it across the room, and calmly walk away. It's great.
  21. I guess it depends, sometimes if I take a really bad beat I'll just quit, but If I get my money in good and loose a lot of time I'll let it roll off my back and jump in another tourney, I don't play ring games very much, so the pathology might be completely different.
  22. Pretty sick how fast you can run up your bankroll playing higher limits, then again you can destroy it the same way, lol. I saw him playing .50/1 and people kept stacking off with mid pair to him, it was kinda funny.
  23. lol @ ball in tree, half a dozen high ballas playing high stakes golf, without knowing the ruling on ball.
