  1. You didn't refute my statement, you backed it up. You're right, making larger pre flop raises will probably turn more profit when they usually don't hit, but that doesn't change the fact that most people want to see the flop and will fold when they don't hit. That's true, and it's not dumb. Besides, I don't always min-raise pre flop, when the blinds were lower compared to stack sizes i usually do 2-3x BB, when they get higher and a lot of the short stacks will still call off 2x BB and drop their hands on the flop, where as if you make them call 3-4x the BB they might just feel commited and pus
  2. Defend it from what, all you guys do is throw out insults with nothing to back them up, everyone just wants to jump on the chance to give someone who's new here ****. I asked a simple question, why is min raising PF in positon with small suited cards on a predominantly tight table a bad idea? I'm here to learn, I don't claim to be that great of a player, I know a lot of you are probably a lot better then me, but I do have a fairly good idea of what i'm doing, I've been playing online for 4 years and have just started reading up and learning from people. If no one here is willing to respond int
  3. and if i have a premo hand i'll call you so fast your head will spin, and if not i'll just fold, no worries. besides most people playing these SnGs just want to see the flop, and are pretty content to fold to the CB when they (usually) don't hit, of course you already know that and are just jumping on a chance to be a ****** bag.
  4. ohhh, alright, sorry about that. What wrong with min-raising with the blinds at that level?

  6. I know it's not a bad beat, I just figured this was the most appropriate forum to post it in. I was looking for some constructive criticism maybe, I figured people who take the time to read and post on forums would be able to reply with a little bit more tact. I don't claim to be a great poker player, I'm just now starting to read up on my game and experiment with being more aggresive. Out of context I can see how this hand looks like an amatuers desperate attempt to get value out of a fairly useless hand. For the most part I min raise, with the blinds at this level, with any hand I'll see a f
