It's expensive if it's a main source of your TV/Movie watching, but I've had no problems with it beyond that. It essentially does exactly what you think it will.

Yeah, I remember when there were regular 10/20 and 15/30 games, but now it's usually just one 30/60 (sometimes kicked up to 50/100 or dropped to 20/40) and only on weekends and Tuesdays. Oddly, they don't run the big games in the side windows anymore, just one table at the back next to the floor desk. And like you said, bigger stuff definitely runs when tournaments are in town. I expect there were be a lot more games during the upcoming series they're running (Empire State something, I think?)

All of Adam's advice is all very good. I like the poker room a bit less than he does, though. For one thing, the rake at 1/2 is really high, to the point where it's probably close to unbeatable long-term. I also don't think that they have limits for all levels as he said. Except for certain days and weekends, they really only run 1/2 (a bunch of tables) and 2/5 NL (usually only one table and maybe a must-move), 2/4 and 3/6 LHE, and 5/10 O8.
