I got mine at a furniture leasing place, and they got my name and a bunch of other info and put it into a computer. A few weeks later my personalized one came, but the one they gave me was fully functional. I used it immediatley without a hitch.

I went to the Horizon Plus site, signed up and then put money right on Stars.

Nope. You can use it right away.

I've used my Horizon Plus Prepaid card to put money on Stars and it works great.
