I ran what I thought was a pretty good bluff considering we were both deep stacked with around 200 BB's apiece in a 2/3 NL game on Bodog. Guy to my right makes the standard raise to $11 and I re-pop to $33 with 9d10d on the button. He smooth calls and the flop is Ac 3c 7c ... not a fan but I'm not done with the pot yet. He checks and I bet $60 into a $71 pot. He calls and I would normally be done with the hand but another Ace falls on the turn. This time he leads out for $40 and I'm pretty sure he's leading with like 10's or JJ, not with an Ace. I re-pop to $110 and he takes the full time bank

Same - and all other apps. will run at normal speed while this occurs so it's just PStars for me.

Overrated. There's nothing wrong with taking an occasional shot. My usual game is 2/3 NL on Bodog but I will have winning sessions as high as 10/20 NL if I see the right players sitting at those stakes. Ths type of BR management should really be adhered to if poker is going to be your primary income source, though.

Kurt has said DN went down to New Zealand and told him he needs to get back into poker because of how big the game has gotten. Fair assumption to say DN may have lent him a hand in getting back on the big buy-in tournament circuit.

Heh. There's no real answer to that. Play good poker. Even if you do that, you still won't get respect from everyone but you should get it from most good players. And if all else fails, learn to be a good trash talker.

My goal is to gain money, not respect. Once you gain respect as being a good player you lose some action.
