  1. On a lighter note I finished 2nd in a step 7 today, with 88<K9, K7<KJ and Q9<55, all AIPF, all FTW. WEeeeeeeeeI have decided I am going to spend all week winning a step 7. Does anyone know when the steps finish?
  2. Thanks mate really appreciate the analysis I think you are spot on re my being about breakeven at the moment. I am going to bed now but will go through the filters and post results in the next few days.
  3. Ty for that - encouraging! What do other ppl's 6-max graphs look like? The ones I can find seem to have the green line in the negative and the other lines way positive (?)Whatever the graphs say I am definitely a massive station so need to work on that. Also got my new desktop with dual 24" mionitors delivered today woooo no more laptop!
  4. No I have a feeling it means I call waaaay too much when I know I'm beat. V interested to hear what simo has to say
  5. **** that was hard I am an idiot. Hopefully this works. It is mostly at 2/4 6-max with some 1/2http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/nn77/da...t6-3--23-40.png
  6. Hi guysI just downloaded poker EV. For my first 50k hands, the total winnings line is signifcantly above the other two lines for the whole graph. I think I have read somewhere that this can be as good thing a you'e picking up a lot of dead money, etc. In my case I think it's probably a bad thing as I haven't done particularly well overall (slight winner), and this seems to be the most glaring anomaly. Does it mean I am being over aggo? I really have no idea so any input is appreciated. Also I am up about $5K in all in luck but the slansky bucks and showdown winnings are about equal. Does this m
  7. I would rr more pre - to $44 or $48.Interesting spot post flop. Button starts hand with $350 - did he lose $50 or so last hand and hasn't had a chance to reload, or has he had $350 the last few hands? This would make a pretty important difference for me as I would be happier getting it in vs a reg type player than a random donk on this flop. I think a random donk flats with a lot more Kx hands.Having said that obviously you are never going to be in great shape if you do get it in - you equity will generally be somewhere between 35%ish and 60%ish.Obviously it is a super wet board and plenty of
  8. Hi guys. Been playing cash for about 6 weeks now. Everything was going well until 3 days ago. I was up around $27K, pretty much all at 2-4, and felt like I was playing pretty well and also running well.I had made a withdrawal for a holiday, and then 3 days ago made another withdrawal of $6.5K to buy a new computer + some other things. I then proceeded to lose $9.6K in 3 days. Pretty standard case of running really bad, and playing bad in spurts.RDog told me when I first started that he was sticking to 1/2 for the moment as he couldn't handle the swings. I think now I know what he means.Obviou
  9. yeah sorry it just won't convert for some reason. It's pretty simple tho - I flop bottom set and then on the flop everyone pretty much shoves 3 X pot in front of me.This can only be a snap call / shove if both SB and UTG are terrible. SB is obviously bad given 3-bet size and his flop shove. I think someone like that has AA pretty much always. When you say its a snap call, what do you think UTG is calling with? There are no draws, anyone even remotely competent is folding one pair and he pretty much never has two pair as the only reasonable two pair he could have would be 67, and I have 2 of th
  10. ty but no he shoved the flop, not pre-flop
  11. Hand didnt convert properly. SB open shoved flop for his last $336, UTG thought for maybe 10 seconds then cold called - hero's action? 2nd hand at table so no reads or stats on anyone.PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $4 BB (6 handed) Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)Hero ($421.30)SB ($380.15)BB ($482.45)UTG ($411.70)MP ($198.85)CO ($193.40)Preflop: Hero is Button with 6, 6. 12. I agree. Seems like you are basically flipping at best, but given his stats his range is weighted towards sets imo
  13. I really hate this hand. What's going on with the two blinds cold calling the three-bet - were they both terrible? If not, I just fold pre-flop. If I do call I'm looking to see some diamonds, not an A.I also don't like the turn bet - it seems like you turned top pair into a bluff on the turn and then folded to a bet on a blank river. I would check call or possibly check fold the turn. AS played I like the river fold - seems like he has AA or 1010 a very large % of the time.
  14. I was up 2 buyins in like 100 hands immediately prior to this so it didn't tilt me too badly. I thought he had turned me and I'd rivered him. Apparently not - he had A8. 15. You're both right it's a terrible flat. I have been paralysed in these spots recently because every time I ship it in someone shows me a set.
  16. I tend to agree.What about this one? Unknown villian / no stats.I feel like I generally spew a ton in these spots and just never make the correct decisionPokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $4 BB (6 handed) Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)CO ($713.30)Button ($467.35)SB ($186.75)BB ($400)UTG ($484.60)Hero ($1070.40)Preflop: Hero is MP with K, K. 1 fold, Hero raises to $12, 1 fold, Button calls $12, 2 folds.Flop: ($30) J, Q, 8(2 players)Hero bets $24, Button raises to $76, Hero calls $52.Turn: ($182) A(2 players)Hero checks, Button bets $129, Hero folds.Final
  17. Is it a snap fold for you? Or is it close? What if I were to say that he often makes moves in 3-bet pots? Given that he is on about 70% of the tables I play, would folding make me overly exploitable? (not saying it would but interested in your thoughts)
  18. No I 3-bet probably an average sized range although less often on utg raisers obv. I didn't express myself well enough. I mean that I feel like his shove is designed to exploit the part of my range that is high pocket pairs. He is unlikely to win a massive pot from me if I've 3-bet him light, and he probably knows that I should be able to get away from AA/KK at some point in the hand if he makes a normal sized raise. IF you agree that he always has a big combo draw or a set, why would you call? I don't think we have enough equity v his range, which I think should be weighted more towards sets,
  19. Villian posts as Vinetou on 2+2. He 15-tables - plays like 15/14/3 - plays pretty simple but solid imo.Does anyone fold here? He never shoves a naked 8. I've also never seen him play a FD like this. He can have KK - doubt he shoves QQ.I just feel like my hand is face up and he knows I won't fold it.PokerStars Game #17119443325: Hold'em No Limit ($2/$4) - 2008/05/01 - 05:44:00 (ET)Table 'Aguntina' 6-max Seat #5 is the buttonSeat 1: dave798111 ($1018.05 in chips) Seat 2: DaPokerGun ($645.30 in chips) Seat 3: squatto ($535.10 in chips) Seat 4: ALOwins ($62 in chips) Seat 5: MAD6666 ($52.85 in ch
