hey all,, listen i think daniel is a great player,in fact he's my favorite player out there, but lately he seems to have lost his focus. he really is not having a good year,in fact i dont remember him winning one tourny this year. i remeber dn telling hellmuth not too long ago that hellmuth's game was pathetic in this one tourny and dn said it was prolly because he was worried too much about the fame aspect and books and stuff, and lost focus on what was important and what got him there ,,,,POKER,,,,, do you guys think daniel is falling onto the same trap as he said hellmuth was ,,,,,,,,,,,he

to make a long story short , iv been playing tournament poker for a while now (4yrs), always have been competive and i would say a good player, anyways,for about the last year or maybe 10 months it seems i cannot win situation where i am a 75 % or higher favorite when there is a card or two two come. especially pairs over pairs in the pocket where i am 81 %. i knows this sounds stupid but after a while i started keeping track of higher pair over lower pair situations that i was in and over the last 3-4 months i have recorded 219 situations like that where i had highr pocket pair preflop . i

i usually go out , get drunk and come home and beat up the wife and kids..it relieves alot of the frustration and the next day i feel refreshed and relaxed. the next day i usually go on a tear at the tables .
