I just take a 15 minute break, get a boxing bag or pillow and just punch the shit out of it. It releases all my anger, then i lie down...and usually come back feeling pretty good.but i DONT play different games or change limits, if your too angry to play at the limits your usually playing at then you just shouldnt play fullstop.

I can't offer advice on LIMIT. But for no limit, if you have $400, start at 5c/10c. $10 buy in.......Then grind to $500 to make sure you can actually win consistently....then move up to 10c/25c when u hit 500, and move back down if your losing.Thats what i'd do....GL

its just abittttt frustrating to play over 4 hours and to be DOWN.on the bright side i'm clearing the bonus, but on the downside ive lost more than ive cleared
-
i have played less than 10% of hands.Meh its just a bad run, i just flopped nut flush with AK against a set of 9's. he made fullhouse on river.I was more just wondering if anyone else has played some long hours at the lowest stakes and getting NO WHERE.I won 4 buy ins the other night though, but this is just sickening me.

So like lately i've been playing alot of hours on cash tables. When i'm playing for all that time going through so many hands in silence i go insane, i use music to get into a zone. (this is online...live you obv may want to listen to people and it's less boring anyway). But to me music is a must have for playing online, but all my music is getting old. I need new stuff.Give me some ideas, what do you listen to whilst playing poker?

i sometimes play alot better in tournaments when i'm watching TV or something, i found this is mainly because when i'm paying too much attention i want to play hands more. I'll notice an aggressive guy raising and try to make a play on him or something with a hand like K-10, which sometimes can get me into trouble. Where is if i'm watching tv at the same time, then look at K-10 and he raises...i fold :)This is mainly because its low stakes, where you need to play ABC and not get fancy. And i get fancy when i pay more attention.

^^ word it like that and its not a brag post.....but you made it one. However i think those stats are reasonable, and i'm the most profitable guy around...but it does depends on the table, my stats are different every time. Only pokertraker will give you solid stats, single session stats dont mean much.

ahahah i laughed at this thread so much......all these people arguing about etiquette. This forum produces some of the dumbest people in the world.JRB was wrong about poker etiquette, Phil was right....everyone at the table agreed xept JRB. When someone says "you've got it", its etiquette to show your hand and let them muck, but by the rules you can make them show, its just considered rude.People who argue against this clearly havn't played a proper game of live poker, maybe some amateur games at the casino where everyone violates etiquette.I am willing to side bet up to $100 with someone in t

this was the only post that helped.....thankyou...gives me an idea of how quickly you get points./ end threadcheers

yeah nah i get way too distracted playing that many tables, i tried it....my winrate is horrible. I'd rather play well on 2 tables and clear the bonus more slowly. I find 6 tabling + i'm just relying on poker tracker, i miss way too much and play like a robot. Though that can work at low limits it sure doesnt for me

So i'm depositing on fulltilt with $600.......But i dont want to play too high limits to start off, although that is the best way of clearing the bonus obviously.......It's 1 point per $1 in rake, and 6 cents for every point. So i need 333 points to clear each $20 from the bonus. If i were to 2 table 10c/25c NLHE (full tables), can anyone give me an idea of how long it would take to earn 333 points? or how many hands i'd have to go through...?I just havn't played on fulltilt before so i dont really know if its easy to get 333 points, i know you dont have to be in the hand to get points from the
