I am asking what online limit is comparable to 1/2 live. I live in Australia and we only have two casinos in our state and there are absolutely no no limit games running in either of them.I'm pretty sure from what I have read on these forums that 1/2 live is of a standard below 1/2 online, I was just wondering what people who play both live and online think. Like Temporary Nuts, who equated 1/2 live to $10 max on Bodog.

If he has QJ we would be making a massive mistake by checking. There is no way he will fold to even a PSB on the flop here with QJ, he will at least call drawing dead or he may even raise. Also, I really don't think he is going to fire with anythin that won't call or raise a bet here. He has a T, he is def raising. Fair enough, perhaps I am thinking of the hand too much in the context of my own play. I guess I just cbet every flop that I 3bet pf. If I 3bet the CO with AQ/AJ here I am still firing the flop hard.

So many people are typing this kind of hand lately where they flop a huge hand and get nothing for it. Its like they think its their fault or something, I dont know.You cannot really check this flop. The only way I would ever consider checking is if the CO is a nutcase and I know he will bluff at it hard. Otherwise I just bet it and hope is has AK or something.

I really do not think we beat much at all. I think it pretty much comes down to whether we think this is a busted fd enough to call. If villain doesn't have a busted fd I would be very surprised if we are ahead.I would probably convince myself that he has the diamonds enough to make the call, but that is because I am pretty awful and cannot lay down AA.

Noone can possibly say whether this is variance or if you played poorly unless you post specific hands. It sounds like you don't think you played your best which is a reasonable indicator.7 buy ins is heaps to drop.
