  1. I can't believe the amount of effort (or lack thereof) and time everyone I used to talk poker with put into this thread. Brings back memories
  2. Uhm, holy **** the EPT Berlin just got robbed by 6 machine gun toting gunmen.
  3. Applying for a dealing job at my nearest casino They just installed table games and are looking for bodies to put in the chairs.Wish me luck pwease.
  4. ... also...MURRAY vs. NADAL better be worth staying up for. For some weird reason, I think Murray is going to win this one in 5 - and I NEVER bet against Federer or Nadal when they aren't playing each other.
  5. Not a ton. If/when I get a job I'll probably be making minimum wage, lolz.Been thinking about starting to actually play again.
  6. You might get embarrassed, but you likely wouldn't care if you're wasted.Hence, all the noise at the US and AO. People get drunk throughout their day and then they just have a blast.Your point about the security is well taken though. Those morons should get tossed the very first time they're yelling during a toss. It's ridiculous.
  7. It wasn't exciting unfortunately. It's like everytime Fed plays Hewitt he remembers losing in the Davis Cup to him after being up 2 sets to love and he extracts revenge with every ground stroke. He totally crushed Hewitt, which is sad, because I'd love Rusty to make one last good run in the AO before he retires. He just doesn't have any offensive firepower vs. someone like Federer. Yeah, Almagro has been my second favorite player since the '08 US Open. Funny though that he's ranked in the top 30 and yet very few people would recognize him on the street. The guy is a sparkplug. IMO he's top 10
  8. Hewitt vs Federer tonight. I'm hoping for a great match since I'm staying up until 3:30 am just to watch it start O_o
  9. Anybody watchin' the Aussie?Fed vs. Hewitt tonight. I'm hoping me staying up until at least 5:15 am will prove to be worth it. I love both guys, and I'd prefer Fed to be rested for the QF, but I'd like a good match tonight. I kinda wish Hewitt was on the other side of the draw. I miss the days when Rusty and Fed were the top two guys.
  10. Nah, I'm taking a semester off before transferring.
  11. I might be bored at work for the first time since this summer pretty soon. Omfg my life is going to suck.
  12. I think it's def. a fold at FR PF. If it was 6max I might be able to be talked into it.Are you not hero?
  13. Yes, basically.Like I said, I was just playing devil's advocate when you said you would often flat aces in villains spot here. I don't disagree with the fact that we basically are always uber behind on the flop. I hate everything but a fold as played.
  14. You can overvalue a hand without wanting to ship 300bbs pre. There are a lot of time you players won't fold a hand pre when it's pretty clear they're in rough shape and have little hope of even winning the pot after seeing a flop.
  15. Never said this. I don't know where you got that from. I said most 10nl'ers are not going to fold AK preflop. Did you miss this: ??? Never said he was going to 4 or 5 bet AK. I simply said he was probably never folding AK preflop unless you possibly shoved. I'm playing devil's advocate here because you said you would often flat with AA. I never said I thought that's what he has. .... I said that I'm 75% sure that villain has another AK here. Yes he could have KQ or a number of other hands, including even QQ. I just feel AK plays this way a lot because people are willing to put in a ton of mon
  16. Yup, I looked at the stacks. The problem with this and the general question you posed to the group is that 92.15% of 10nl players are not forum posters. 99.9099998% aren't competent forum posters. Also, I'm fairly sure that a higher percentage are not Trystero. They aren't thinking, "Omg I have AK and I got 4bet. He might have aces!"They're thinking, "OMG I HAZ AK AND I GOT 4 BET. I WINZZ."IMO, it's especially silly to want to give the flop to someone when you're 2-3 bi deep when they can have a lot of hands that are going to flop something where you're going to get board trapped because you've
  17. You're often flatting a 3bet with 2 people behind you left to act? Honestly, unless you're playing HU or you think that you have a complete stone read, you shouldn't really EVER be flatting AA preflop, especially at 10nl where people are willing to call so light. And this would be an especially horrible time to do it with people left behind you. He's right, it is terrible to play AA like this if that is in fact what he has. IMO, it's something like 75%+ that villain has AK here also. Otherwise, you're totally destroyed, so you're playing to chop. Easy fold imo.
  18. 19. I don't mind it. He shows up with AK, KJ and KQ here a lot imo.Sometimes (not very often) he has you randomly beat, but I think he calls the river a lot with worse.
  20. I like Tim's line on how to play the hand.Given the way the hand was played, I really don't like calling all that much. Guessing games aren't my thing. Given that two people saw this flop, and they're only either stone bluffing or betting a better hand for value (I don't really think his range is THAT huge - he either has a flush or a Q or has nothing), I tend to give people credit more than hero call them. There is a three letter abbreviation that comes to mind when I think about calling this river just so he can show up with A9hh or whatever.
  21. When people go from 0-60, or in this case 35=>270 in limped pot on Kx6h2h board, and you have 62xx, they almost ALWAYS have to have a flush draw. Especially when the K is the non heart card, because then it is really super often like KJhh or some crap.I don't think I could stomach folding this. You just block like everything but a combo or regular flush draw unless the guy limped K6 or K2 which would make me lulz.
  22. I missed you too. Also, I don't sleep; And college kicks my ass.
