why play if you are not playing to win. How many poker players do you know that sit down and say, "I'd really like to lose this tourney/roll tonight." My only point was you really don't have to showboat for the cameras, or be inflammatory to win at poker. Actually, I'll concede that yep as long as its within the rules its alright. As I say that I will also reiterate that people that rely on taunting or have a condescending attitude in order to hopefully piss off another player and force them into mistakes are not very good overall poker players. It comes down to the cards you are holding and

you really are retarded, it wasn't my topic to begin with, secondly there were more responses affirming the fact that KM is an asshat than debunking it. So the only thing you won in this match is a nemesis. Learn to read, quote facts, and then when you've done your homework and think you can match me intellectually, come back and play. And I can only pray that since you are married that you haven't procreated the world is dumb enough already. This is the last time I will respond to anything you have to say, here or anywhere else on the forum. What kind of moron goes back to old posts to bring

yer a legend in your own mind, but i really see clearly why you didn't see a problem with KM to begin with....cuz you're just as big a mindless douchebag as he was...birds of a feather flock together.

First of all, for any of what dribble you have to type or click or whatever, to effect me....I would have to have a certain element of respect for you as a person and a forum member. None of those components are present, so once again your imaginary "internet bi tch slapping" is rendered ineffective. Second of all, who really cares how often I post in this forum or read it? You? I didn't leave because someone made me feel "out of my league". Is that ultimately what your goal is? Lois- "HMMMmm, i'm bored today, let me go pick some random subject out of the forum, then I will start a pissin cont

thats not very christian-like lois. Might wanna google "new material" because most of what you post is pretty drab, and yer really not breaking any ground.

cool, by the way I can reccomend some people for your mental issues....just drop me a line

That guy can't even spell EMBASSADOR. I don't see any point where this guy was being funny or anybody was laughing. Point rendered, invalid. Lois you're pretty sensitive on this subject. To be honest I think I read your first response and the rest was pretty much blah, blah, blah. The fact that you staunchly defend this guy without conceding in the slightest bit that maybe he was a touch of an ahole is just ridiculous. I'm coming to the conclusion that you pretty much browse the forum looking for controversy, and when none is to be found, you create it. This thread really didn't have to go

k lois, you win....i'm completely wrong...all poker players should conduct themselves as assholes. As far as the hat is concerned, the poster was on the fence. As far as the attempt at a slight by referring to dignity and class, this isn't a poker game now is it?....carry on...sorry i got ya all butthurt.

Lol, I don't even remember anymore.....I just thought the guy was a tool after watching it. Prior posts cited reading about it or hearing about it, and that yah the guy was being a dick. Then the discussion raged on with Lois. In the end, it doesn't really matter, my opinion is he is an ahole...Maybe DN and the others at the table didn't feel that way at all...I don't know. I just know if Matusow had been sitting there it woulda made for entertaining tv. I guess that according to Lois, behaving that way is the best way to win at poker. I'll stick to my way, which is no.1 having fun....no.2 ret

verbal assault, physical assault.....whats the difference. You must have missed the part where I said I don't care who the guy was talking to, amateur or pro, he was out of line. I don't need to verbally abuse someone in order to play a solid game of poker. You are dealt 2 cards, then there are 3 phases in which you have to decide whether you can beat any other hand out there. You have to decide if you can get away with a bluff if you don't have the goods to win the hand. If you don't think you can win, or you're pretty sure you can't succeed with a bluff, you fold. Using tells, and betting pa

No it wouldn't work on me. If one other person posts that they disagree with the fact that Kyle was out of line, i'll eat my hat. It really doesn't even matter that it was DN that was the target of his rudeness, i'd say the same about him if it was any other poker player, pro or amateur. Matter of fact, if I had been blessed to be at the same table with him, I would have said "stop being a smarmy choad, play your cards and stfu." The reason I seem to be worked up about it is that it does nothing for poker to encourage ass hats to behave like this. Where do you draw the line? If every behavior

your 100 percent correct, if you suck at poker, then yes you must get under their skin because its the only way in hell that you stand a chance at even crossing the bubble. IF however you do not have a limited repertoire, there are many other ways to get to another player. I think you just want to argue for the sake of arguing though, so we'll just leave it at you must not be a very good poker player and probably are lacking in social skills which would lead you to believe that this guy was in the right. There is a big difference between tactful aggression and just being a douche for the sake o

As far as DN mentioning it, maybe it played out entirely different from the way it was televised. Maybe DN provoked KM somehow and it was just return fire. Who knows? In the end it came across as DN ultimately being the better man. Also, when DN busted out, KM had another sarcastic remark. At that point the game was over for DN there was no need to continue being a prick. Tell em good game and be respectful. In conclusion, none of your defenses for this guy hold water.

You quoted me as saying i take them out early.....I don't mean i let them get to me, their attitude makes them easily susceptible to trapping. You can sugarcoat it all you want by saying its part of the game, maybe you play poker with alot of douchebags, i dunno. Saying that its a bad thing that he wanted to win is just ridiculous. His words had nothing to do with an overall strategy. If he was needling everyone AT the table, once again...you'd have a case. You forget he was playing against other people. You are right however, DN probably payed it no mind, in fact he's probably used to it. My

What I saw was this, Daniel entertaining. He opened by asking if anyone watched Rocky. Later he sang part of Eye of the Tiger and got the whole table to join in. DN was being an ambassador to poker and having a good time. Kyle Morris, from the moment he sat, was being a ambasshole for poker. You don't have to be an absolute disrespectful douchebag in order to rattle poker players. Maybe DN provoked the behavior from this guy and I didn't see it because of the editing. I highly doubt this is true though. This guy just wanted to prove how superior he was to DN on tv. After some research I've see

Yeah its a shame they gave that guy any airtime at all, he really was an embarrasment. From what I saw, DN didn't really react to him, but i dunno what they cut out either. Just wondered if the guy did rattle him a bit.
-
Its been awhile since i've graced this forum, but after watching the latest main event episode, I felt the need to comment. Is it just me or was that Morris guy a plain unadulterated ahole. The poker dealer that raided Daniels chipstack twice with flushes. I don't know if DN and him know each other or not, but it really seemed to me like the guy succeeded in getting under DN's skin. He displayed the same demeanor you expect to find in most of the 18something hotshots on the internet. Since I didn't read results or find out who actually cashed or won in the tournament, as i wanted to watch it u

haha someone found that VR play against Clonie in Cash poker, that look was indeed priceless...I thought she was gonna come outta her chair and a cat fight was gonna ensue. She ended up winning PAD...Ruosso, not surprising...first out. Did anyone notice that Clonie stuck her finger in her eye when she was about to make a play or raise? I'll have to watch again to see whether she was bullying when she did this or if she had the best hand. She did it at least 3 times in big pots.
-
I'm pretty sure VR's mouth is full away from the table, so it was inevitable that she was gonna talk incessantly and make little or no sense. I hope Clonie clips her at least once for the suckout VR gave her on Cash Poker...she had no business being in the hand after the turn.
-
for some reason UB is saying i'm not connected to the internet...i dunno wtf the problem isGL though
-
that makes perfect sense since 50 percent and 40 percent were probably interviewed.War is hell, personally never served....but i'm pretty sure worrying about someone else trying to kill ya 24/7 would re-shape your thinking patterns.
-
FYPALL IN well done, hope we never meet, how dare you mock the service men/women. I can't add anymore other that what Balloon said. Sure hope you have the ballz to spout that bs to a veteran face to face, nice knowing ya!

Un-freaking-real. Bid For "dukes Of Hazzard" Car Approaches $10m
Kwest4chipz replied to scram's topic in General
i think that when i read that posting he had said something about "less than honest" people driving the bid up...so i'm wondering if its gonna get pulled with a no sale. Then again, there probably is one guy out there with disposable income that really, really wants that car. lol -
