  1. I would have raised to like 250 or 275 preflop. You will see A J here often enough that a shove is still correct IMO.
  2. This is completely backwards.Early in a SNG, I am open folding A Q, that's how tight I play. These levels (10/20, 15/30) are essentially meaningless when compared to the 100-200/25 level you will be playing in about 20 minutes(for turbos, more like 40 minutes for a regular SNG). You cant afford to be dusting off a couple hundred chips playing stupid hands and chasing the draws you flopped with your little BS suited connectors.Which brings me to my next point, is that suited connectors are overrated for SNG play, (not cash games though). With limited chips, you will more often than not, flop
  3. People who say they do better against better players are just wrong, plain and simple.Against bad players who call you down with draws they are priced out from making, you will win less pots, guaranteed. However the pots you win will be so much bigger if you are playing the player correctly, and you will be a long term winner. If you can't beat the $5 and $10 SNGs consistently, you are not a winning player, period. Everyone thinks they are great at poker and that the rest of the world is an idiot, but if you cant figure out how to beat somebody, then you are not good. A good player who plays

  8. Yeah, stack sizes are going to greatly affect my answer on this one.
  9. If I shove on the flop, it would be for 540 into a pot of 450... that's not enough fold equity if he wiffs? He'd be getting less than 2 to 1.
  10. I'd make it $10. Don't give the blinds pot odds to call.On the other hand you could smooth call to look weak and hope to let the blinds call and make a top pair smaller than queens, and you could try to stack them too. But this way you risk losing the pot.On second thought, I think the smooth call will make you more in the long run if the blinds call with A J or A 10 and pair their bottom card.
  11. I think you have to lead, you don't want to give a free card to a big diamond. I know he doesn't always have one, and there's only a 25ish % chance of one falling, but I'm pretty aggressive, especially heads up. If you've been playing aggressively, I DEFINITELY like leading into the raiser here, and hoping he will come over the top.
  12. If everyone folds, you increase your stack by 25%. I like a shove.

  19. By now I expect your posts to be HU, but if you don't see the little thing that says (2players) at the top, it's hard to tell. You should just put heads up in the subheading.
  20. Good shizzle.Takeitdownaments.
