Yeah a call like that could definitely be KK.I probably raise him, he tables the KK, then I say, yeah, see I f*ckin knew it, to myself.
-
Q 10 makes senseI would have put out a defensive bet of 200, and if I got raised I would throw it away.
-
QFT, that's what I said.Only difference if it comes ragged, I lead to see if villain has AK or a higher pair, and if he raises big, I let it go. Might be losing more money in the long term that way though, what do you think.

http://www.pokerxfactor.com/SH57374/2711_20070421_164008Similar situation in a tournament that Rizen played in.

Well were OOP on this hand, so it's going to be easier to be outplayed. On another note this seems like a value raise to me, saying big pair. That's why I'm heiring on the side of caution so much in this hand.

This whole decision is math based. Put him on a range, and pokerstove it. Figure out your equity and act accordingly.
-
Idk maybe I'm just wrong, but I feel like you can make decisions so much easier after the flop in general. This just seems like a SA/WB situation to me (slightly ahead/wb)Not a spot where I'm looking to get my whole stack involved.

Lol man all that volunteer work I had to do in high school, f*ing rec programs and soup kitchens, I could have been working for FCP!!!Seriously though I figured you got paid, it seems like you spend a lot of time in here.

How'd you get such a sweet job?I wanna work for a poker company.
-
I can't see pokerwire right now, does the page open for everyone else?
-
No one is shortstacked in this hand. You're probably beat, but getting almost 5 to 1, I would call.
-
Do you still have FE by pushing?? How much more is it to him if you push?
-
I've played a bunch of 180s, not quite 100, but I've final tabled 3 of them and won 2. :: brag :: brag::I know there are a lot of donks but I still think we will be either racing or way behind, far more often than we will be way ahead.
-
I think your range is way too wide. Who reraises that many players with A10 or K Q? Not many.
-
His line really looks like he also made a flush. Like a lot. I would call the bet, then call the bet on the river.

Getting 5 to 1 you have to be about 85% sure he has the flush to justify a fold. I think his c/r on the turn makes it pretty obvious, so the disciplined me would fold, but the "aw f*ck it, I wanna see it" side of me would call. The disciplined side is the better poker player btw.

How do you have the highest profit per SNG playing $5? Even if you are 10-tabling.
-
100 max definitely sucks. Just curious what the rake is at this place.
-
I think you have to call since he is desperate, and if you call its not like you're going to fold for 600 more, you're committed, so you may as well push to isolate. P.S. what does the star mean and what do you have to do to get it?
-
Lol I think you should just fold KK pre. (sw)The first one is fine, I'm raising that all day five handed (essentially four handed b/c of the sitter) especially as chip leader, and calling a shove from anyone except maybe seat 7, since he's the only one that can hurt you.

Alright so far, Zach has been the most insightful. I'll set you all straight though. You don't know what the villain has, and it's going to be much easier to figure out on the flop.If you fold, YSSCKY.Calling is the best way to go. No one else is reraising behind us, if that was the case they would have reraised in the first place. If you hit a set, lead out and hope to get raised. If it comes all unders, lead out and wait to see what the villain does, he will most likely shove all in if he has a higher pair, in which case you can feel good about folding. If it comes like A K 9, well it's pret

I don't think always and never should be part of a poker player's vocabulary.I folded QQ preflop a few weeks ago in a small stakes donkament when it was pretty obvious I was beat, against two opponents. One had aces, one had kings.
-
There are 1 out of 3 flops that hit the villain. That's jsut a chance you have to take IMO.
-
I was originally just going to say I disagree, but then I thought about all of that and that's why I changed my mind to marginal. This is still too strong of a hand to fold, or play passively at all IMO.
