    Before you post this shit maybe you should check how well he has done in his last 2 starts. His ERA is comparable to last year and his peripherals are even better. Tim is the real deal and is gonna put up sub 3.00 ERAs for the next few years anyways. And you will continue to be a terrible poster in the baseball forum, congrats.Also If you want to actually start the Tim vs Duke bet just pm me.

    You want Howry? :club: That game sucked...I can't believe Bochy keeps throwing Howry out there...he has been ridiculously overworked so far this season. I had a feeling he would blow it before the inning even started. Hopefully Lincecum can pull out the rubber match vs. whatever scrub Torre throws out there.
    What a difference a year makes...the words "hopefully" and "Lincecum can pull one out" would have never been uttered in the same sentence last year.Just an observation.

    I have to question whether the guys doing the torture are really doing it for the country or because deep down they might just enjoy it a little. I think it has to take a certain kind of mindset to get into that business. Which means that somewhere in that person's psyche they want to do that kind of thing. Which is why I object to torture on not only humanitarian grounds but also because there is always the chance that someone will take it too far. And we all know that nothing would ever come out about it if they did.The only example I can think of at this moment is Charles Manson. He sent out 5 people to murder for him, 4 were predisposed to do what he wanted with no thought of conscience. His downfall is that he sent one human being that said "I can't kill anyone Charlie". No matter how much you might want to think that our guys would only torture someone to get information, there may well be a majority of those guys that just enjoy torture. The human beings would be the ones that would say they couldn't do that and would either get transferred or run out of the service.
    We should send Charles Manson in to interrogate the terrorist imo.

    I don't know how reliable the information obtained from sleep deprivation would be either. After all sleep deprivation has been known to cause drops in concentration, memory impairment, compromised decision-making abilities, hallucinations, impaired judgement, impaired impulse control, and temporary insanity.
    bad beats usually cause this as well

    there was two posts since the series has started. one was a post from a red wing fan. the other didn't say anything about the future just the past (which is doomy and gloomy).they definitely can. it's not like they've been getting dominated. in fact, they're controlling the play for the most part. not as well as they can obviously. I'm not sure if this gives hope or not. they've lost twice but they've been in them. I'm not sure it really matters how actually.anyway, dan boyle needs to do something. he hasn't done anything extraordinary. none of the top guys have been great (not even for three or four shifts). sometimes that's all you need to win a game. hasn't happened yet.
