  1. whats the difference in rake between full and short? I thought we were talking short vs full not 1/2 vs 30/60.
  2. howd you go broke twice?? you play so good. i predict this year will be better btw.
  3. I would think the opposite. At lower stakes the play is much much worse, so your decisions run much much better! also, isnt the rake significantly lower online?
  4. i like these threads but ive never posted in them so here goes.consistantly beat the biggest games on pokerstars for every game.Get involved in stocks and other investments.play more tourneys, both live and online.get exposure
  5. if you're a good poker player you make better decisions than your opponents. Shorthanded we are put to more decisions which means more profit. theres just not enough spots to gamble in full ring to catch up to shorthanded play, imo.
  6. the stakes dont get very high at redrock but the play is really bad. there is an interest list of 10/20 lhe that never gets going, and i think the biggest NL is 2/5. But they offer 4/8 lo8 which is rare.
  7. Gus Hansen and his friend stole our seats! We had to come back in and say, hey this is CHRIS LAMELL'S seat. get the **** up.
  8. i missed a lot of the final table last night because i was wondering around talking with people. I did see it get to 3 handed though and daniel was playing well. It was definately his tournament to lose. 9 mil with 3 left and hes the best tourney player there by far. i was sad when i found out he went busto, i really wanted him to win.sounds like i missed all the good stuff...oh well
  9. the best thing about 2+2 is news views and gossip. I wont say anything else about that forum.keeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiith. long time no chat buddy.
  10. the **** he just pulled in that interview got him a couple points in my book. pure comedy
  11. this is old news i was at the table right next to them when it happened. Some guy at my table actually got hit somehow. There werent any glass bottle thrown, just plastic water bottles. But a group of ~4 people were exchanging punches...someone even got a back hand in! lol Floormen were quick to put men in a head lock and break up the fight between everyone else. I had to get out of my chair so i wouldnt get involved.
  12. lolyou must have been watching me play again
  13. competing for 34k was fun as hell! I could see me playing more. I just had a feeling about this one before i even played. Seen the 100k nightly and predicted i would win at least 10k and registered. isnt that weird?
  14. yea, send me a PM. goes for anyone else interested...
  15. thanks guys. appreciate everyone that was railing too. worst thing coul have happened though. I got to the final table and our cable/internet went out. I had to drive around town to get to an internet cafe! I was ****in freakin out.

  22. i hate to say it but that was my mentality when i talked to steve in the beginning. Argueing my case, i was doing very well in limit hold'em. So i was a bit skeptic about taking lessons from anyone really. IM SO GLAD I DIDNT BACK OUT! I actually remember asking steve if i had to pay for another 6 months of training and i was fully prepared to pay.I used to be good at lhe now i dominate. lol
  23. ill help kick it off.before I met steve i played lhe cash almost exclusively. Before training i was taking shots at 60/120 lhe and had been beating 30/60 and lower for a good amount of change. I went into training hoping to make my lhe game good enough to start playing limits like 200/400. Fortunately, I went a different rout and decided to learn how to play every game well. Like steve said, i wanted be a well rounded player. Now i play 2-7 and lhe on a really close skill level. lo8 and stud I can hold my own as well...playing 20/40 live atm for both games. So instead of going just toward lhe
