Josh,I was sweating you on pokerpages like a maniac, as I'm sure a ton of other fcp'ers were. Good job and it couldn't have happened to a better guy. I'm a daily reader of your blog since the day you put a notice on here about it, so keep up the adventure. Go take a day and get DN gamblin' on the golf course or something...he needs a pick me up! Congrats and I look forward to you also winning your third bracelet this year!! (i'm predicting)

Funny stuff. I just realized that I'm trying to convince somebody of they're own stupidity. How often does that work?Face it, we're all clueless as to any pro's finances. Other player's can say anything they want but I don't know many players that are willing to make their br situation public knowledge. Actually DN's the first I've seen be so up-front about finances and br.Fact is, one year of book royalties for TJ probably equals most of our salaries over a few years or more. You can read online or in mags, speculate, and gossip all you want. When TJ posts his finances like DN did, then

Everything you just stated about TJ's financial status...did TJ's wife tell you this? If not, then you're probably wrong. How would Paul Phillips know any more about TJ's finances than me or you? So what if he plays high limit poker...he's not eating dinner at TJ's house. He read the same old CardPlayer articles you did. And if you've never owed anyone money, then you're either a liar or a saint. I'm smart enough to know when I don't know what I'm talking about. When it comes to Tj's finances, or DN's, or freaking Donald Trump's finances...it's all speculation unless your the bookkeeper

Now this is why i normally just lurk. I love how all you wannabe poker player retards (not including the actual players that come to this site) come on here and talk about pros like you have any idea what's actually going on. You have an article about TJ? Cool, I have ten more. Are any of them completely truthful? No. Is TJ my hero? Not exactly. Is he a hero to poker players? Definitely. Is he being backed for a measly 5K buyin? If you think so then you're dumber than you look. Trust me, the man has 5K. If he IS being backed, is it any of your business? Do you think everything yo

First off, I'd like to say to monsterrain....go fuuucccckkk yourselfYou're giving TJ ****ing Cloutier shit? Where's your bracelets? The man is a living legend and you're talking like you know his finances. If I had the money and he didn't, I'd back him any day of the week. IMO, I doubt TJ is hurting for money, and I doubt he needed any backers. His bankroll is looking farrr better than yours ever will, so take a deep breathe and realize who you really are on the poker circuit...nobody. You're not going to be anybody by putting down heroes that you can never compair with. Win a bracelet,

I recently had a major increase in my previously pitiful BR thanks to some advice that Daniel uses himself when he plays in large tournaments. Basically, "Don't do anything stupid". For the last 6 months or so I've been playing from a starting bankroll of $10 and managed to get it to and keep it at between $200-$300. The greatest thing is that the original $10 I started with was a sign-up bonus from Absolute Poker. I've never actually deposited a single dime online! Now here's the great part. I recently started playing multi-tables for small buyins (5 to 10 bones) and seem to do fairly wel
