No, I definitely thought it was kind of odd that they would just put these on without warning. I still can't figure out if I want it or not. Probably not a big deal but it could help or hurt in small ways.

I actually just found a couple hours ago that you can have it removed. Go to where you check your ironman status and there should be an option to have it removed about halfway down the page on the right.

I actually don't think that Baxter's play was "as" idiotic as everyone believes. He is getting almost 2 to 1 against Farha and if he has 10 outs then those are the right odds plus there even is a slight chance that he could have the best hand with how Farha was playing. Don't get me wrong, I would never think of making this play especially with Elezra behind(which is what he seemed to overlook) but if he just wanting to gamble then it probably isn't too horrible.

I am all for people expressing their faith, but the poker table probably isn't the place. The cards are are lined up the way they are and god isn't going to reshuffle them.

Raymer wasn't upset at the player who knocked him out. He was upset at another person at the table who was rooting against him when he was all in and taunted him after he got knocked out. He was definetly justified in getting upset.

I think the Main Event final tables the last couple of years have produced many good players. 2004- Greg Raymer, David Williams, Josh Arieh(sort of), Dan Harrington (obviously was great before),Al Krux(3rd main event final table) Marcel Luske (10th). 2005- Joe Hachem, Andy Black, Matusow. 2006- Jamie Gold, Paul Wasicka, Michael Binger, Allen Cunningham. All of these players have had considerable success before or after the final table so obviously good players are getting there and it isn't a complete fluke.

It seems like you should be able to fold your cards face up. I think there are some sites that allow that. Ultimate Bet maybe if I remember right?

It would be cool to see some MTTs take place over more than one day. Fulltilt had the one during the FTOPS.

My dad tried making a withdrawal with money won from what I transferred to him and they would't allow it unless he made a deposit. Maybe it has changed now.

It is dissapointing to see players with one good showing get signed with PokerStars. There are definetly a lot more deserving players.

That is not showing the odds of winning the whole pot. The double flush draw hand is on a free roll with 17 outs and 1 card to come. There are 40 unknown cards so 17 out of 40 is 42.5%.

I think his odds on the turn to win the whole pot are around 43%.

I'm surprised that no one has mentioned Chris Ferguson's call against Varkoni. There was 2,200 in the pot and Ferguson called a 19,800 bet from Varkoni with JJ on a KQ7 board. I was thinking that maybe ESPN had the pot size wrong or something but after watching it a couple of times it looks like it is right. It's also not that hard to get over reading fck in a chat box. If you are an adult who is responsible enough to gamble then I think you should be able to handle it. If you can't then you have the option of blocking any one person or everyone. Most of these chat bans are just a way to get back at someone which is wrong.
