So, if you found a real real juicy 1K/2K NL game, would you sell your home to play in it? In that game a 1 outer wipes you out of everything. Just because a game is full of bad players, doesn't mean that it should be played. Bad players can stack you just as easy as good players can. Their will always be a good amount of bad players but you must have a sufficient bankroll to play in their games without much risk.

You wasted a lot of equity by pushing. You want him to have a flush draw and to call. You have a set, and the board will pair roughly 34% of the time in that situation. I would have bet less then the pot and hoped he called. We don't even know if he has a flush draw.

Harrington on Hold 'Em is good for MTT's. I would also suggest just play as many tournaments online as you can.

It was 9 outs on the river.Scotty had A5 of hearts. Pham had 62 of heart. Zilem had the Q of hearts. The board had two hearts. Then he had an inside straight draw for 4 more outs, minus one that's a heart. That's 9 I believe.

It amazes me how stupid people really are. Two things that will get you in trouble were involved. Booze and drugs. They were selling booze without a license and people had weed. I am willing to bet that if those two things weren't involved the cops would have just broken up the game and said don't do it again. I play at a local room sometimes where their is beer, but they give it away and no drugs. That room is known by local cops and they let it fly.

You want your opponent to to put in money with the worst hand without sufficient pot odds. Suckouts are inevitable, just learn to manage them.

The only event that is a little different is the HORSE tourney. Around level 13, the blinds slow down. Reply to 2.What I meant about the chips is the number. Say someone bets 8,000,000 at the final table. Last year that was only equivelant to 4,000,000. The average tv viewer will be amazed at the 8 mill chip bet not realizing that it's really only 4 mill.

On Cardplayer TV they said the starting chips were doubling in all of the 2007 WSOP events and that the blinds were doubling. Why would you do this? The only reason I thought of was to put more chips on the table for tv viewers. More chips moving around looks better for tv audiences.

Break it down like this: 30 days in a month. 1000/30 = 33.33. You need to make $33 a day. Seems very reasonable at $100 NL. Play for 4 hours, that's 8.33 an hour. Play for 6 hours that's $5.55. I'd say if you are a decent player, you can do it. It would be boring as **** and your girlfriend would probably break up with you, but it's doable.
