So you're the second person who has realized i'm right and stopped arguing, only the first guy used the word arrogant instead of condescendingI'm not going to argue. Just wish you weren't so god damn condescending. -
Needs a little more practice = exactly my point that he should work his way up the stakes aka. practice until he is ready for a good buy inThe only way poker is not a chore is if you are playing for entertainment in which case you are PAYING for entertainment by losing money which is what he is on track to donot everybody multitables.Maybe he had a bad run of cards.maybe he just needs a little more practice.ohio, stfu.Playing poker shouldn't be a chore for people if they don't want it to be. -
Awe typical of my generation to be upset by working hard and doing things the right way. The key is you will be much more happy having drug yourself through the lessons of moving up stakes on your own efforts...because once you make it, you will always be there and it will all be worth it.Also I don't know your back story so either you A: played for the amount of money that you want to now and just donked your way down to a $2 buy in bank roll, at which point what makes you think that just because you can make money now at a level where people literally treat the money like play chips that you can now all of a sudden return to your losing stake level and not just blow it again.or B: you have never played at this buy in that is 25 times higher than your current buy in, in which case you're drastically overestimating what kind of player you will be at a level where people start to care and play for realand if it is C: the case that i HIGHLY doubt, that you just withdrew your winnings and couldn't afford to put it back in than this thread is pointless in that it is a no brainer to redeposit at your former higher winning level

-
It is both, you can't make any real money as in something to spend and be proud of, but you can make it to the next buy in level where you work till you make it to the next, until you reach a level where you can make enough to enjoy itWait, I thought you could make enough money at those levels to move up...which is it please?
-
Arrogant like thinking anyone cares that a $2 player has figured out he cant make any money at the $2 levelYea, why socialize at all? Why even talk to others? Everyone just quietly go about their lives without saying anything, espcially in a place called a FORUM.And it's not the fact that you are dissenting that is bothering people, it's the arrogant manner in which you are doing it.
? That's right up there with the sky is blue
-
So why even post a thread if you don't want any dessent? Just quietly put your money in and play, why do you need a whole FCP parade? If you were playing for $2 than I doubt anyone will be losing sleep because you are no longer on for a period of time.Your reasoning still makes absolutely no sense. I really love how you think that because I want to save myself some time I'm automatically going to lose when I deposit the money and start playing again. I'm done with this little back and forth. Have a great day. -
You have a problem of thinking you know more than the people who have already been down the road you're traveling.Just like a college freshman partying his a$$ off does not necessarly mean that he will flunk out, so too does buying over your current level not necessarily mean you will lose it all; however, odds are that freshman is going to blow it and end up back at home and that your little 1,500 buy in will end up in someone else's pocket because you are too weak to build a bank roll with other people's money, a process that teaches/gives you all the tools you need for the next level.
-
Well first off I don't play cash games, but I did build my bankroll from playing $5 sng's to now playing $100 sng's so I am very aware of how long it takes depending on your skill level. And I'm telling you that if stepping up slowly seems not possible than you are not winning enough to do well at higher levels. Then again I am not talking you out of anything, it's your money, I'm just telling you where it's going to end upYou honestly have no idea what you're talking about. Go ahead. Start at 2NL using a 25 buy in rule, and work your way up to 50NL playing only cash games and always using proper bankroll management, and never playing anything higher than your bankroll allows. If you can do that in less than 6 months playing a few hours a day, I would be very surprised. -
I agree with you, if you are a WINNING player at the lower buy ins you will probably be a winning player at higher levels, that's not my argument. My argument is that if you are such a winning player than with only a small amount of patience and brm you should easily move up limits with OTHER people's money and not your ownWhat crawled up you *** and died? What you said was completely baseless. .25/.5 isn't exactly the big leagues. If your a winning player at the lower buy-ins, you'll probably be a winning player in .25/.5. -
If it takes you a long time to move up than you are not a very winning player. If you can't smash the 2,5,10, and 20 buy ins than you have ZERO hope of not losing money quickly at the $50 buy inOf course I could move up by playing, but it would take a very long time. Time is something I don't care to waste, especially on micro limits. So why not cut out the middle man, save the money, and then deposit my "real world money" so I can play at a higher limit. Thanks for posting. Have a great day. -
$20 or $30Hi guys i slowly built up my bankroll from 200.00 to almost 1000.00 Itook out 500 and will be leaving 500 to play sng/s and multi sng/s{usually 45 people}.what buy in should i be playing with 500 bankroll on tilt.my nickname is rc70...thanks guys good luck -
Can't wait for you to bring that 1,500 back into the pool. And for the record you can't be a very winning player because if you were than over a prolong period of games you could go from 2 => 5 =>10 =>20 =>50 while still practicing brm if you were any good.Instead you fall back on real world money like a donk is supposed to
-
why are we even talking about this? total donk call
-
Here is a serious reply, if you really think that it is 70% suckouts than you should go all in every hand because you are going to pick up alot of chips from people folding and once you do get called you will almost certainly be a big dog and you can then use your odds to suck out. Should be no problem raking up a large bankroll and a huge stake on pokerstars. by the way please post back with complements to my system and if you can see how stupid that line of thinking is than JUST STOP IT !I was really hoping this wouldn't turn into a joke about online poker being rigged. I know it's not, and I know Stars isn't rigged. That wasn't what I was getting at. My statement was merely an observation that dominating hands don't seem to hold up as the odds say they should. This is everyones hands, not mine.

Hey DN how do you think they get electricity, not from wind and solar like you all might think, also i'm guessing you're going to stop taking all those jet flights too right??? No CO2 involved there LMAO! Also anyone know that one large volcanic eruption lets out the same amount of CO2 that all the auto emissions in the world do? prolly didn't know that huh? Being against global warming to save the earth is as stupid as being against eating meat to save animals, oh wait you are that stupid DN!! So instead of jumping on 'blame humanity first bandwagon' you know the one being pulled by the blame america first truck, how about we just blame Carniverous animals and volcanos!! I"m suppper serrrious you guys

check fulltiltpoker.com, they always list on that page what is going onIs Full Tilt currently down for maintenance or is my computer being a piece of **** again? -
If what you state is possible, it is deffiently music to my earsJust rent a PO box in Canada open a bank account say you are going to be vacationing alot there, verify it with neteller and DONE!.Use the debit card to withdraw and make purchases in US. It is simple to rent a PO Box.
-
Also are there any instant check cashing type stores in Canada that wouldn't require being a citizen, kinda like the place Mikey cashes that huge check at night in Rounders? Lol, now i'm keeping it entertaining sounding like typical donk, but serious question
-
Ok thank you for the reply and answering some of what i was thinking while keeping it entertaining. But the other guy gave me an idea too, do you need to be a citizen to rent an apartment (obv. seems like not since that's the first step before application) so once I had that apt. could FT just not send the check to me there since it is in Canada?Well let's give this a little more detailed look now shall we... At the current time I believe you must be a resident of Canada for the previous 3 years to apply for Canadian citizenship at that point you fill out your application, at that point it takes between 18-24 months for them to look at your application, IF you have any blank spaces to any question your application is immediately returned and you must fill in the missing information and go to the back of the 18-24 month line. ASSUMING your application has no blanks then your application is carefully considered and seeing as how yours will say "I only want to be a Canadian to play online poker, I have no interest in paying any taxes or helping out the country in any way shape or form" and that by granting you citizenship the Canadian government may be helping you violate the law (because US law applies to anyone who is in the US regardless of their citizenship) I'm thinking they may not be keen on granting you citizenship but just for fun lets say the Officer is on crack, pot and meth at the time, NEXT you have to take a Canadian Citizenship test not really difficult for anyone who has been living in Canada for several years but I'd imagine slightly tricky for the Average American. Sample question #1: (Without googling it) Who is the Prime Minister of Canada? Also keep in mind that you may have to give up your American citizenship. So as you can see becoming a Canadian citizen is really that simple: just live for 3 years+, fill out the forms, wait 1-2 years, get approved by a Immigration Officer, Pass the test, Possibly give up your American citizenship Oh and one last thing swear an oath to the queen! P.S. Second sample question: What's the queen's full name?Good luck and congrats on becoming Canadian -
I read on another thread that FT stopped sending checksWell have them send you a check..duh -
I'm talking about since October when I opened my FT account geniusThe year is only 18 days old .
-
I'm not worried about depositing, i'm worried about withdrawlingIf Full tilt doesn't even send checks anymore i'm pretty much screwed cause i'm sure the other 2 options will be out real soonwhy are you worried about methods to get around depositing if your up so much. I really don't get it.. -
and yes i see i spelled canada wrongAnybody know how hard it would be to establish dual citizenship in canada and rent out the smallest apartment possible to get a canadian bank account to operate out of? Sounds alittle wacky but i'm on pace to clear 40k this year from poker and i don't think it is too unreasonable to pay a small amount for an apartment to keep that going.
