  4. funniest thing i've seen in a long time!!
  5. There are criminals in every profession. How many Hollywood celebs use to be in prison or did drugs. For that matter, how many are involved in illegal stuff as we speak and are caught up in speed or herion. Why should the "public" be skeptial about poker players? They have skeletons in there closet and so do you.based on the show tilt, i think we can assume that even at the highest levels, there are unsavory characters.
  6. erudis..I signed up with you as a referal. I've actually played with you quite a bit a full tilt under xdynamic1. If your interested I found a site that is connected with a sportsbook....very, very soft tournies... if you want maybe we could do a trade. email me at insight122@yahoo.com fi your interested. For those of you that are interested as well..its mysporstbook.com I think it is also connected to londonpokerclub but im not sure. Very nice interface, not very well populated. the most players i've seen on there is between 4-5 hundred. But, I play on all the major sites and I have t
  7. DO NOT EVER PLAY THIS SITE!!!!! I was disconnected three times during one day and lost all of my buy ins for the sit and go's I was in. They have serious problems with their software. Pacific kept telling me it was my fault, however, I was also playing a table on UB, and full tilt at the same time (because you can only paly one table there) and was not disconnected. I have never had connection problems witha nay site I have ever played on, except pacific. Their customerservice is absolutely terrible as well. I withdrew my money immediately and would advise anyone to not play there.
  8. Just a heads up...for anyone considering playing on this site, DONT! I have been playing on this site for about a week, really liked it until yesterday. I have been mainly playing 100 and 200 sit and go's. yesterday, I was playing in a 200 sit n go, and was disconnected. I checked my connections, and everything was good on my end. I was out for about 10 minutes. When I came back, my stack was down from 1450 to 200. four places paid, and I soon went our in fourth. Since small disconnections have happenned before on pacific, only occuring for about a minute, I thought maybe it was just
  9. Gets my vote. I played back to back sit n Go's today...the first one...5 handed 200 buy in...one person eliminated 3rd place gets your buy in back...I have the chip lead...I get disconnected....come back online about 5 minutes later...I now have 250 or so chips...WTF!? I just had 1500 and the blinds are only 50/100. The very next one..also a 200 buy in...I get to heads up..we are about dead even in chips...you guessed disconnected again. I get blinded away and finish second. Which really sucks becasue playing heads up is the stroongest part of my game lately. Iwould reccomend not playing
  10. I recently opened an account on pacific poker, but I would like to put some money in my ultimate bet account. I dont really want to go through the cash out process though. If anyone wants to do a trade I would really appreciate it. I would like to move $300. If anyone is interested please let me know.thanks, jesse
  11. Heck, I could do that too -- I'd just have to cash that grand back in between each of those cashouts. ;-)(Not trying to discredit you -- just sayin'.)damn...busted!!! lol..i was hoping no one would catch on....

  13. the limits you play does not have any true bearing on your skills as a poker player. I play 2-4 no lomit, 5-10 no limit, and 10-25 no limit and to be honest woth you I see people making terrible plays at all levels. And that includes everybody. No one makes perfect plays all the time people make bad decisions, it happens to all of us. I think there are lots of people who post here that play lower limits and have a very sound theory on how the games they speak of are played. So, I guess what I'm saying, is that the limits you play dont neccessarily define you as a player.my 2 cents
  14. this is what is commonly reffered as the "matusow" blow up.....
  15. I would tend to agree with the other people who posted already. But you need to look at your br in your own terms. If you have a job and the money in your br is not a significant amount to you, play whatever games you want. If the money that you have in the account does represent a lot of money for you, manage it wisely. Stick to the lower limits and build it up. The games are not going anywhere, you dont have to rush it.
