  1. ah, ok so I think you're saying that roughly I should call in this situation with like J9+?
  2. Ok lets say it would be like an average 9 man SNG with Two chip leaders with 4k each, a guy with my size stack, me and the short guy. Sorry for lack of information.
  3. Lol so arrogant, "feel my opponents". Remember if they're playing low stakes, and you're playing against them then that means you are playing low stakes too.
  4. Its not a pot odds calculation though, I thought ICM would be more accurate?
  5. When I play sngs I often run into a spot like this lately. Guy on button has between 4-5/6BB's. I know he shoves any two, does this mean I call any two with like a 15bb stack? I know some people may say no but I read an article by Albatross77 who said you should kind of be calling light in these situations. Here would be an example hand, remember I know he is shoving any two.Button Shoves for 500, I have 100 invested in the BB, SB folds and I hold 7h4h. If this is a laydown, where do I start calling in regards to my cards?
  6. In a $2.25, I think you gotta lead the flop, I prefer to reraise preflop but calling is ok too I think. As played I probably call and watch him flip AJ.
  7. This thread did not contain a house to destroy, im sorry if your ego has been knocked but it is now probably nearer where it's meant to be.
  8. I feel sorry for her. Her family seem like idiots IMO and now the video has gone public to the internet. "could have been a peadophile" - She is 18, that grants imunity from peadophiles.
  9. yeah you know, like beth shak on PAD when she calls an all in with a straight draw and goes with her "read".
  10. You think aloud and make brag posts of laydowns. Congratulations you're a pro.
  11. in a micro stakes turbo calling an all in from two players with AK is certainly +ev in my experience of them (I have a lot).
  12. OP is a joke account right?
  13. I got slowrolled the other day in a sng and sucked out on the guy. If you are such an idiot that you slowroll somebody for no reason you deserve the bad beat imo.
  14. Hm im not quite sure im prepared for step two after that amazing step one. Has revolutionized my game
  15. Well done, nice to see karma doesnt just favour people like Jamie Gold
  16. you're going to be waiting a very long time then.
  17. Didnt you make the topic "why the newb hate" - Well thats why.
  18. I agree, very good post.
  19. It's like an initiation test.
  20. I play micro limit sngs and have been winning at them since god knows when, however I still look at my plays and im not 100% happy with how I played certain hands especially post flop. I dont think sng's allow too much post flop play really, especially not compared to cash games. I just wondered if anyone has and links to a strategy or a Q+A page about micro limit sngs. I know all the basics and how to play them profitably but I want to get better and wondered where I should look.
  21. I dont mind the shut up doug really, its mostly posted under all of my posts in off topic so you kind of learn to love it. However keep shut up doug out of the general poker forum, some people have tried copying it in there and it's a general only phrase really.
  22. It's a pretty crazy thing to say but i've heard of heart transplants giving the person who received the heart personality traits and in some cases even memories of the person who donated the heart. Maybe when he was put in the same situation as the guy who died he did the same thing. Could well all be BS and im not saying I believe it but I thought i'd throw it out there.
  23. I was considering making this topic. I dont know whether to play in it though because so many people play on stars I dont know if making the leaderboard is achievable for a low volume player. How does the scoring work exactly?
  24. Definitely, if they can hack the server, how can you accept all in wihtoot see floop?
