The Trop aint' bad...I stay there a lot when I go to Vegas. One of the best deals on the strip. But yeah, it's about a 20-30 min walk to the Bellagio. Only about 5 min walk to the MGM poker room...lots of low limit action there.

Played the Ceasars Nooner before, the best you'll find. They are now offering a Deep Stack Tourney on Saturday's $300+$30 $7000 in chips 40 min levels.....

They don't show the Jesus year (2000) because The Discovery Channel had the broadcast rights that year, and Ms. Binon was too cheep to spring for the holecard cameras as well..... I'm assuming something similar for 2001.

2 table SNG on Pokerroom....Early in 2nd round, some players are already short stacked. Blinds at $15-$30. I'm in early position with QQ. UTG player limps in and I raise it up to $150 a short stack moves all in for about $250, folded back to the UTG player who calls. I move all in for $1500 or so. He immediately calls for $1300 with 66, the short stack has 99. Flop comes with a 6 and I'm down to $200.I say something like "you called all of your chips with 66?"Hey says "you shouldn't have let me limp in" WTF? -

The juice seems to be very in in the Calif card rooms, I'm up in SF and they are alway very high % of the buy-in. And they always claim that none of that goes to the dealers. I generally tip about 2%. I'm not rich and when I make a score in a tourney, I need that money. $40 for a $1600 pay out is a good enough tip. That being said, as much I want to play and win outright. Generally, in those $100 buy-in Calif tourney's when it gets down to 2 or 3 handed, the blinds are so high that it is almost like cutting cards for 2 or 3 grand. Most of the time, I make a deal. But I always wish I coul -
Wait....did you say someone got AA two hands in a row? That's just not possible. I've never seen that happen before. That game must be rigged.

I've got to agree with Daniel on this one. Where's Erik Siedel? He's got 7 bracelets...or Annie Duke, she won the TOC last year. Even if it is a Freeroll and it's free money. I would be pissed if I had qualified under the terms laid out, and then found out that those guys were playing as well. Why not say up front that Harrah's is allowed x number of added players....they didn't do that. They've done that after the fact.I also agree with Daniel, when he has addressed his "complaining". If you don't complain, nothing with change.

There are three decent rooms in Reno, Eldorado, Peppermill & Hilton.Eldorado - 3/6 Kill, 4/8 Kill and a big NL game most nights, sometimes there is a Omaha 8/b.Peppermill - 2/4, 4/8, 10/20 and a medium NL game, $200 max buy-inHilton - 3/6, not too much action there most days, weekend may be good? The only real decent room in Southlake is at Harvey's they play a lot of 3/6, but there is normally a 10/20 there too.
