  3. sick, up $9,470 so far over 860 hands. could potentially be a sick sick month, although i'll probably get lazy and take like a week off at some point for no reason.
  4. you want to stake me for the 24+2s this month?
  5. September-"I want to get in over 20K hands, make over 30K, and play more 6 max NL besides my heads up binges. And at some point, learn how to play PL Omaha starting at 10 cent 25 cent, although that realistically probably won't happen. If i hit a massive downswing and it doesn't let up, then I'll try to learn Omaha."-Played 15K hands-Won over 41K-**** PL OMAHASo i met 1 of 3 goals last month. This month I want to get in at least 10K hands, not go on a bad downswing, play the 100+9 DS 6 max tournament at least 5 times, and get with a MILF.
  6. a lot of 3 betting going on preflop, and based on way the match was going, was very sure he would lead the flop if strong. the CR at the time was just like, "I am bluffing, please call bluff me and shove turn so I can fold". so I abided like Jeff Lebowski would say and pulled it off.
  7. This hand was about 2 weeks ago and I wanted to post it but never got around to it. Table is 8 handed and I have about 875$ in front of me. Preflop play is so loose passive it makes me sick. Gah, I really underestimated how incredibly annoying it is to play full ring live after being used to heads up online. sooooo many downsides. anyway enough ranting, onto the hand. Background info-I have just won the last 2 pots and just showed a bluff. I probably have an image of a dumb loose kid who is going to bluff off his chips, which is actually probably true given how bored i am. The villain go
  8. I took a 5 or 6 day break for no reason just to relax and get away from the ups and downs. played today and did pretty well, won around $3,100. here's the best hand of today.FullTiltPoker Game #3679185567: Table Wyteazn - $5/$10 - No Limit Hold'em - 16:53:05 ET - 2007/09/26Seat 4: shipurstack ($1,371.50)Seat 5: IHaveAStrong9 ($1,020)Seat 6: Grimstarr ($1,000), is sitting outIHaveAStrong9 posts the small blind of $5shipurstack posts the big blind of $10The button is in seat #5*** HOLE CARDS ***Dealt to IHaveAStrong9 [Ts 9s]IHaveAStrong9 raises to $30shipurstack raises to $100IHaveAStrong9 cal
  9. Haven't played really since Thursday after a big downswing, but I think I will slowly get back into it as the month goes on. I am still having a sweet month overall though, can't lose sight of that. Adding rakeback and a couple grand I made on my friend's computer, September is 35K plus so far.
  10. I had an absurd day today....jesus so many swings. I played some guy heads up for over 3 hours, and I have never ran so bad for so long against such a terrible opponent. To his credit, he didn't quit and kept playing me when he was up over 6K, which is very classy. I eventually stacked him, and ended one of the longest sessions I have played in a while. Heres the graph for today. I am up almost 40 grand this month so far. Hopefully things keep going well.
  11. you don't "Have" to do anything except what you feel is the best play. again, any physical tells?
  12. i think preflop can be good on occasion.flop-make it like 42 or somethingturn-raise hugeif you did those two things you are practically all in before the river anyway. as played, check behind on the river then flip your chair when he shows Q 10 offsuit.
  13. any physical tells? any strong reads? this is where live can much more informational then online. if you say he is on semi tilt, he could easily not have a 4....but at the same time he actually could. again, any physical tells?
  14. Whatever site you play on, take a week break from playing and just watch the high stake NL games go. Try to truly get into the heads and thought processes of the high stakes players. If you do this for an extended period of time, i swear to god this is the biggest help to your game that you could ever do. In my 4 years of playing, I improved the most by far about a year ago when i took 6 weeks off and just watched the High Stake NL games on Full Tilt.
  15. yo, what do you mean by data mining? could you explain this? i want to figure out what this exactly is, and then do it.
  16. Heres my graph so far for September. I haven't played any real poker today, although I tried 10 cent 25 cent PL Omaha and lost 35$ looolllllllllllll. It's fun having no idea what to do.
  17. bankroll management is sooooooooo key. if anything else, make sure you strictly follow whatever plan you come up with. put in the time, study the game, and you'll get there.
  18. this is not accurate at all. neither one of these hands plays this way, are you serious?? KdJx would NOT put in the 4th raise. Neither would 333. If anything, 333 would put in the 3rd raise. I would bet a ton of $ that the CO has a flush here, probably a higher one then 27 suited. the only ones you beat are like 65 or 45 suited. Its a cooler, but lay down.
  19. def make it 13$ preflop. as played, the call on the flop is best, and i think you DEF should raise turn, like every time.
  20. 5 10 NL heads up, 5 10 NL 6 max, 10 20 NL heads up. mostly 10 20 NL heads up. some guy has lost over 11K to me. i hope to keep playing him haha.
  21. I have had a sweet start to September. got over 100K now for my bankroll. heres the graph.
  22. no, not necessarily. The notion of folding JJ preflop 4 handed to a 3 bet without a read that the opponent is a nit is absurd and wrong in my mind, and is what made me say that. I agree that some of my past posts were a little out there, but I still think I am correct in saying that SH aggression is a concept that seems hard to grasp by some who probably play 9 handed.
