Pot the flop. You've got the best hand almost every time.Call the river and probably fold to a shove from UTG. Only beaten by TT or QQ and QQ bets the flop every time.

The lazy ass couldnt be bothered to log in on my computer and I refused to let him put his signature at the bottom. I cant believe he's THAT identifiable.

If CO is moving in with any 2, you want to raise, let him reraise and get it allin.IF CO is only reraising with a premium hand, he is usually folding to or calling the preflop raise. If you think he will raise preflop with a very wide range I don't mind a limp/reraise to get him close to allin.

Yeah, KKxx is the most obvious hand for him, and that side pot is pretty big. While you can potentially be a collective underdog for the main pot you definitely have good equity against BB's range in the side pot.

Any ace gives us the nuts = 3 outsAny Queen gives us the nut = 2 outsAny 10 gives us the nuts = 3 outsAn offsuit 9 gives us the nuts = 3 outsWe have 10 nut straight outs (taking off the Ah).Raise preflop. Pot the flop. Call the shove. All your straight outs are nut outs, and your flush outs should count for something, even if it works out as only 2-3 outs.

There are obviously only two cases here, either he's winning or you are:1) If you're winning then keep letting him take shots and if we raise he will probably fold.2) If he's winning, when we raise he would probably shove and we'd have to fold we only have TPTK.It isnt clear who is ahead so I think calling is the best option.Tho the way he called preflop and has made slightly weak bets throughout the whole thing. Why bet so small on the flop? I think a flush draw is likely and you should raise the flop. ARGHHH I dunno maybe he has a monster. Please post the results after a few more replies

Background information on me is:Over the last academic year, Ive played regularly during the first 2 terms i.e. once a week. Played once or twice this term. Its pretty much my only form of exercise. The guy I regularly play against, I've beat him once.I've been beaten by my girlfriend. Tho that had to be just variance.

Hey,Can you guys think of any prop bets to make for a game of squash? The more creative and colourful the better!

Its too early in the SnG to say, since he could just be a bad player. I would be expecting either high cards or an over pair but very rarely an underpair. Because of the initial limp I think it's likely to be 99 or TT maybe AQ.I dont think there's a need to isolate since what kind of player who limped is then going to call the short stack shove, oh and given that you called as well. Probably only someone who has you beat.

Its a $1 SNG. People dont play these to make money. Its either practice or for fun.

I wouldn't limp I'd just fold preflop. Though I dont mind shoving either. A limp is just weak.As played I'd fold to his raise. Man I sound weak. But this is only because limping costs you 10% of your stack and then limp/calling costs you 25% and its a hand that you're often gonna have to check/fold the flop with.I tend to play this hand when I have position and for a cheap as possible. I prefer the shove since the guy folds often enough to make it +EV.

I'm typing, I'm typing LOL., I'm typing but Im not laughingIt's purely because of my state of mind when I play these things... honest.

Strat Tourney Hand - Low Mid Pocket And Board Flops A Pair
Stuples replied to Yahkin's topic in Tournament Play
Just call. If he has missed overs then the call has to be scary and should slow him down. You don't have to go broke if he has you beat. Call and see how he acts on the turn.BTW I actually prefer shoving preflop because its 5 handed and he made a weak raise. We are good against his range and we'll be adding ~1/3 to our stack. -
It's fairly close but I'd fold. I dont see him having a draw often enough to justify a call.Ultimately, if you never get bluffed off a hand then you're calling too much.
-
Just fold. You are at best ~53%, and can easily be 18%.55 would be closer.

Is the SB doing a stop-n-go?

I thought I was wrong in calling. So I call the flop:Flop: 4 T 7 ($127, 4 players)Hero checks, UTG+1 bets $15, MP2 calls, Button calls, Hero calls.Turn: 6 ($187, 4 players)Hero checks, UTG+1 bets $30, MP2 raises to $120, Button folds, Hero ???I'm certain I should be reraising now, right? If so by how much?

Mine was 1000. Everybody else was 1000 +/- 100
