  3. From the amount of chips in your stack this isn't a STT obviously. So what tournament was it and how many tables/players were left. Also this is a great time to use any information on the BB. Information such as how well does he defend his blind and how many hands has he been playing. Also what is your image, how many hands have you been playing and how many hands have you had to showdown. After his shove you're getting 2.5 : 1. Which means you need to be winning 28% of the time.Your M is 7, I dont think there is a problem trying to blind steal. But considering you and the BB are the chip l
  4. Argh I see your point. There is two lines to take on this1) We reraise so we like our hand. If Yahkin is aware of how Button plays then maybe he is aware of our style. In which case he thinks we like our hand and knows we're gonna have a hard to folding so he shoves hoping we'll call. So we fold.2) He knows we're thinking along the lines of 1) and shoves for these reasons hoping we'll fold.I dont mind folding even if it is a steal. So what if we got bluffed of one hand. If we never get bluffed off a hand then we're calling too much. If it was a steal attempt then he picked the right pers
  5. 1) count your outs and workout what odds you need2) calculate your pot odds3) fold if 2) is smaller than 1) and call any other timeRecalculate on the turn.Am I wrong in suggesting this, if so why?
  6. Quoting other people and agreeing is all he does all day... No wonder his post count is so high
  7. oooo 3 handed. Call because you need chips and you dont really have time to find a better spot.So what if he's raised with aces previously?
  8. he think he has an inside straight draw with an over. I dont think there is anything wrong with the way you played it. I dont think there is a need for a bigger bet on the flop since its only straight draws you need to be worried about.
  9. arghh nah fold. He's representing a straight ie T9 and the way he's played makes sense and you let him hit by betting so weakly. Such a small pot on the flop with so many people you have to bet more. Its either a straight or a better set very rarely anything else. Pretty sure high pocket pairs would have raised preflop and on the flop.
  10. I fold or reraise preflop. The idea of me reraising is to end the hand preflop NOT to create a huge pot and play some post flop poker. If I reraise and he calls I shove this board. If he rereraises I fold.
  11. As played I call the shove because it came from a fellow shorty.
  12. Can I have:7 :diamond:8 :diamond:Simo_8ball is shipping for me
  13. I call. I think his range has to be uber tight for us not to call since we're getting roughly 1.5 : 1

  15. As played, call this and fold to a river bet. But as Simo said I would have raised preflop.
  16. Exactly! He has position on you and the cheapest way he can ask "do you really have a pair of queens?" is by min raising. At this point he has invested 40% his stack so a min raise does seem the cheapest way he can steal. Him being a competent player doesn't mean his cards are good at this point.I'm not folding right now and if you shove here he's getting 2.25:1You should also consider what you image has been up until this point and maybe that'll help with deciding whether he wants you to fold or call.
  17. Now you can finally deposit some money on Full Tilt!

  19. I'd just call his raise because AA/KK has us crushed and AK is a coin flip.I dont really like getting my money in when I'm at best in a coin flip and the other times I'm crushed. I also dont like folding such a good hand. So I call.By calling the preflop reraise it gives you several ways of winning the hand, which are: - his AK doesnt improve and you have the best hand - you hit 1 of your 2 outs and crack his AA/KK - or you bluff him off the hand
