  2. Villian has a HUGE chip stack. given the fact that he didn't raise PF I am pretty sure he doesn't have a premium hand. However, he probably has overs or a drawing hand or something like that, I would not let him see them cheaply. He C-bet 800 into a 1500 pot which is only 1% of his stack. He probably just wanted to see if he could take it away cheaply. He might even have hit the board. I would shove in that instance, take that pot down quickly and not let him see another card.
  3. Great insight... thanks for the well thought out post.
  4. OK... this hand converter sucks! villian had 2/2 and of course I lost. Please give me more than "fold pf" at least tell me why...
  5. Not worried about "moving on.." I'm not dweling. I want to improve. "moving on" doesn't improve my game. But thanks for your input.

  10. I was going to pose a question that is very similar to this. So I will give you my thoughts on your hand first. Maybe a min re-raise pf could have given you more info. If he 4 bets then it might be an easy fold too. I, too, would have flat called hoping for that exact board, or maybe hoping for an ace so that I can easily fold. I personally play a lot of LP raises (position is everything in rush). This is a cooler IMO and the only way to not lose much on this hand is to be nitty and long run that aint gonna win you or me any money. This coming from a broke man right now. I tend to overplay po
  11. Mappy 4 bet AQ preflop.... I flat the 4 bet.TPTK on flop with 2 spades... only 2 hands beat me... AA or KK or maybe AsKs. No way he 4 bets pockets 5's or 9's.I have no fold equity on flop and after my bet there is NO WAY I am folding (I'm priced in). Just really makes me mad that someone makes an absolute horrible read and miss plays his hand to a runner runner he was a 94% dog after the flop. To the person who said why not go all-in he had a str8... he went all-in with A high... then got runner runner for a str8.

  14. Wrong. It was staged. You are correct though, DN did speak about it a few months ago. He alluded to it be staged himself.
  15. good stuff guys. I knew I had two options... folding or calling. Hind site I think I should have folded because of my BR. I did win a sat. to get in, but I am an emotional player and had my whole BR in the tourney. Yeah, I know poor BR managment. I felt the risk was worth it at the time, guess I should have waited for a better opportunity to felt him.Great input guys, Thanks!
  16. Here is the situation... Blinds are 500/1000 and I am in the big blind.Folds around to the small blind, who goes all-in.He has me covered 3-1 in chips approx 25000 vs 75000. Villian is a horrible player, he either folds or goes all-in everyhand and has had several suckouts to achieve his stack size.I am 100% sure that I have the best hand ATos.Question is do you fold in this situation guaranteeing your self a cash or try to achieve the double up putting yourself in contention with the big stacks?FWIW... My read was correct, he risked 1/3 of his stack to try and steal my 1000 big blind with 8/5
  17. tough hand... with bad position.played all over the continuum on this one... took the lead then gave it up then tried to take it back again. You got no information pre-flop... good raise could have minimized his range. The flop confuses me... You check/raise to take the lead or be the aggressor, then check the flop!If you checked/raised because you thought you had the best hand then go with that until the board tells another story, there is nothing on the board that would improve his hand unless you put him on 8's or a straight draw.I think the best way for this hand to have played out given al
  18. Let's not forget this interview was done by Mrs. Left wing herself, she is the same woman who asked the question of the family of the young man who was gay and beaten to death if"... you blame the religous conservative groups like Focus on the Family for your sons death?"
  19. Thank you very much, I'm not in Vegas, couldn't qualify this year. I would like to test it out before I shell out that much money. I don't have the BR that some of these other guys do.
  20. Is there still a 24 hour trial period available? I couldn't find it on the site.
  21. Allow me to give you some advise... I don't know if you are a bad player or not. But take 2-3 days away and read a good poker book, maybe you can see some flaws in your game (again, I really don't know). Pluse you won't be on tilt anymore.GL dude
  22. Don't take this the wrong way... but I am glad to hear that. I thought I was the only one that was going through this. A three outer would turn to a 5 outer then bam... lost again.tonight flopped a str8 runner runner boat... out!boats over boats and such... Good news is that our bad luck can't run forever..... can it?
  23. called the 3x raise with *&^% cards. Coolered flop. how do you not call with TPTK? after a preflop raise?are you going to put him on 8/2?
  24. I have been put out of the last 20 tourneys (live included.. runner runner club) with the best hand to suckouts. I heard a poker pro say "you always want to get "it" in with the best hand" but my Gosh... 20 straight tourneys ending with suckouts is just ridiculous. Thinking about giving it up. This is just the latest example. If you know who Kamilo123 is let me know because people like that are ruining the freakin game. I mean calling 3x with 8/2 off?????????????PokerStars Game #17985546730: Tournament #90369597, $10+$1 Hold'em No Limit - Level II (15/30) - 2008/06/07 - 19:26:25 (ET)Table '903
