  1. Card dead the first hour. Had AQ but missed the flop entirely. Came back to Aces after the break though =). @ 1210 chips
  2. Is Daniel vegetarian or vegan? I read his blog saying that he was eating tofurkey. I've never tried it myself but I heard it sucks.
  3. The min-raise is just so wierd then to call a re-raise. Does anyone else think he has some monster drawing hand like a J9s in spades or 89s in spades? I'm not convinced he has aces or kings here.
  4. I haven't read the other suggestions but it's an obvious raise or fold situation. Even if we do get called, we'll likely to be first to bet/bluff at the pot when we do see a flop. If your read on the table is weak/tight, then taking down the pot with a standard c-bet will most likely win it.
  5. I was watching an episode of Live at the Bike and the commentators mentioned players buying into the game for a short amount. They were expressing the idea that people who buy in short often have the relatively easy option of folding or going all in when faced with a decision. I was wondering if anyone here buys in for a short amount at ring games and had success at it. I was thinking about trying it for a few times at higher limits than I normally play at to see if it yields any profit.
  6. Heh, what's wrong with JMoney?

  8. In. 1200 chips. I saw Wandigo bust. It was pretty funny.
  9. We have about the same stats, but mine are for NLHE. The only difference is my fold to river bet percentage which is at about 70%. Is this normal for no limit ring games?
  10. Sorry, this is a MTT. The buy-in was pretty low, at $5. When calculating equity in hand, you basically match up all the hands that could possibly have you beat, right? One of the things I noticed at these lower stakes was players having a tendency to limp in with a lot of strong hands. It's a pretty rare play in itself, but at these lower stakes I see it happen quite a bit.
  11. anyhow, results are due. villain was betting on a busted flush draw. Qs8s or something.

  13. Is there a gametime+ version for tournament play? I'm only able to use the HUD in cash games.
