I'm not a big fan of Dawkins, but he has a point, but truly it's not his place to go to the media with his opinion, so he should shut up.Dawkins is on my top 10 list of media whores, including awesome people such as: Puff Daddy, Paris HiltonBahaha

I never watched it nor used it as a source of evidence, I tripped over it and posted it for your enjoyment, I'll look at it later.

Does Being Religious Make Us Superstitious?
TenaciousMe replied to cu in 4years Dan's topic in Religion
Science supports the existence of God or a creator, according to the book. - Major ArgumentScience supports Christianity - MinorFrom the book I take supportive evidence for God's existence. Christianity is derived from other books/authors. -
Yeah

If it were a recessive gene, we'd see it as commonly as we see green/blue eyes. Half of America would be gay/bi, and it would already be sociably acceptable.

I'm admitting that someone can be born Bi, but choose or through nurture become gay.The unbalanced "dosing" of hormones applies to Bi in my arguments, and is directly applied to someone who is born Bi and turns gay.

http://channel.nationalgeographic.com/chan...-the-bible.htmlit's not the direct movie, but It has to do with the science of the bible compilations, they have a couple of those that they feature every couple of years. You might find the movie on this page entertaining, I haven't looked at it, just read the preview, I'm currently busying myself by writing an 8 page research paper, so I don't really have the time.

Honest question; if you believed in God, do you think he'd care whether you knew how many animals Noah supposedly was told to bring on his ship?Don't assess me, just answer that. The two different interpretations are pretty laughable.

Only theoretically, because you can't prove what is practical or beneficial for humanity.

To be completely honest with you, I'm not particularly sure, I just remember skimming the article and reading about it's relation to current day published bibles. It wasn't even that long, I am aware that in some Catholic Bibles, there are some added books that have nothing to do with the original Bible (Or compilation) were tacked on by the early Roman Catholic Church. Which ones to be exact, I can't remember.

This has to be the most constructive post on a thread I've ever seen.
