Hey there,The best thing to get when you're thinking of starting a poker room is this book, The Complete Poker Room by Chuck Ferry. I saw it in the gamblers' general store in Las Vegas but I dont know if they sell it online in their site. All the info you need in starting a room is all there.As so far as the cameras, I would recommend one fixed camera on each table, recording it is your option, VCR tapes or Digital recorders.Marco

Hey Guys,Here's how I see it. Rakes are better because it taken from the pot, so usually the person taking down the pot is the one where the rake is taken from. So its not really much, 10% of the pot with a max rake of say 4 bucks, doesnt mean much to someone taking down a $120 pot. Essentially.Time on the other hand is charged to all players, so regardless if you're winning or losing, you'll get charged time.In lower limit games, rakes are better for all concerned, its just when you get to the higher limit games, the house can't just take in the 10% or cap it at 4 bucks, so they charge time.R

It's just different sytles dude. If you go all-in with Pocket Rockets and bitch about a bad beat then obviously you made the wrong decision.Go all-in with Pocket Aces and don't bitch about it, then that would be better. You know the risks of your move.

Why would you go all-in with Pocket Aces pre-flop? That's definitely setting yourself up for a let down. Play tight until you see something.

It was really good to watch something like Tilt, it had that edge the Sopranos had in the first two seasons. I liked the first episode but I'm in Manila right now and wont be able to watch the rest of the season. Thank you Kazaa-lite.Marco
