I was just thinking of this, what if the Main Event at the WSOP had an optional rebuy for 2 hours into play, this way the prize pool will be bigger, and those who suffer a tough bad beat (who also have deep pockets) could have the option of 1 rebuy. Just a thought, wondering if it would be a good or bad addition to the ME? Comments?

I played in a live 2-4 NL game and was at the end of a pretty good session when the following hand comes up.I limp utg with 66 as do 3 others, guy in bb raises to $14, I call with one other person.Flop is 6 8h 3h and original raiser checks to me. I decide I want to make him pay for any draw, plus the guy had about $45-$50 left and I decide to put him all in. His direct quote to me was "I will call because I know I can draw out on you" and calls with a flush draw. Pretty sweet, but I disagree on the women=bad poker player comment. There is a woman who plays in our home game lots and is actually pretty good. Wheither she is the only exception to your rule is yet to be determained.

exactly, i knew unless he had a pocket pair of like 7s or 3s, or two diamonds like me, i wouldn't be dominated. Everyone saying he missed his flush draw can't be certain. He may have tried to bluff this whole hand and figured I would re-raise him off his hand if he would bet, or didn't want to give information about his re-raise...like i said i had been playing when him before, i knew he wasn't afraid to bluff throughout a hand. As you can see on the last hand i played with him, he tried to bluff me out with an all in raise, he played that hand very awkwardly....

people calm down. it was a freeroll, i was just wondering why the heck the guy would fold instead of checking down the hand, he would of won it with the high card anyway, it was definatly a strange play to see, and i felt like showing him the 7 3 anyways...lol

The only thing that is missing is that there were about five people sitting out, and he was gaining a reputation for stealing the blinds, 1 sitting out on either side of me. So I felt like getting a little lucky, I didn't think he was that strong, and if I hit the right flop I could of doubled through the big stack of his.
