  7. Happy July 4th to you Bob and a thanks for keeping this place going likes ya does! The Best part of north of the 49th is the vast amounts of untouched nature that is usually fairly close by, no matter where you are, and the worst part is that our "Government" doesn't seem to care about doing the right things to preserve and protect it.A close second in paradoxville would be having the US as our neighbour allowing us to be free and prosper while seemingly not being able to make our own decisions because of the massive influence America has over almost all of us.lindenkeslerVancouver
  8. Stumbled upon this this morning ... it's a 12 page (yes it's long) recap of Tuesday's show ... some pretty good writing with some humour, theories and some really great observations ... probably not for everyone, but I really enjoyed it.http://www.ew.com/ew/article/0,,20313460_20386359,00.html
  9. Their Mother - "I can't do it anymore, one of you two has to take over" - was the killer and the torcher, and was probably Smokey then.
  10. The only thing bumming me out watching is knowing the whole thing is almost over.Hurley and Desmond episodes never disappoint and not only were they really good, but clearly they are starting the push to the end.I like how it looks like it might be Desmond vs Sayid as the Lieutenants of Good vs Bad. Not really sure who/what is in control of Desmond right now (how does Electro Magentic bombardment change his thinking and decision making so that he appears to just go with the flow, no matter who or what he is confronted with?) or is he doing this, along with bringing storylines back in the ATL,
  11. First off, there aren't many "general statements" on any subject that you can't drive a Mack Truck through if you want to.Daniel has said many times he wants to get to the level of Ivey, Durr and Antonius and playing 100/200 is surely a good arena for that ... the original post saying he should play 5/10 is laughable (not sure if it was yours), imo, considering the games he has played in for years ... this isn't some guy off the street trying to learn the game, he's trying to make some adjustments ... he aint exactly a chump at the tables ... as far as confidence goes it all depends on your th
  12. You probably know the answer by now, but Ivey paid 150K to get out of it ... can't remember how long it went before the buyout but I know it was less than 3 months (I'm guessing 6 weeks or so).

  18. Number one reason for me to get into an argument at the table cuz I'll speak up right away, every time.I'll ask them if they know why that rule is there allowing them to ask to see the player's hand ... obv, 99% don't know the intent of the rule ... unless you think there is something shady going on, you don't do it.Rooms that allow this should do the educating, not forcing the players to do it ... people need to know that the only reason they are allowed to see a hand is if they suspect there is cheating going on and simply asking to learn what a player has is extremely poor etiquette and tha
  19. The good news ... top 1% of 150,000 players and 900% profit. The bad news ... a whopping 10 bucks for 1,200th place.Biggest overlay I've ever played with ... thanks to Bob for the thread or I wouldn't have even known about it ... kinda cool ... just a couple of double-ups away fom a legitimate shot at 50K.
  20. Hour and a half in and 80% of the field is gone in a tourney with a 50% overlay of $150K ... don't see that too often, lolz.17,500Your current position is 3977 out of 30468
  21. All the power to him I say ... he caved to whatever PA wanted, def part of the game and at those levels obv even more so. If Isi had said no and threatened to not play, PA would have still played on less favourable terms, imo ... PA is swooping in on a guy who's running ridiculous knowing he could probably take advantage of a big roll and an over confident player (besides wanting to recoup his own losses back).Edit - Agree on not putting all the money back on the tables after Townsend was felted ... if he still wanted to play, the cash should have been back in front of him.
  22. Agree 100% ... thought he was acting like a total Degen and let PA take advantage of it ... he keeps that going and he will fall.
