1) buy in for full2) raise to 10 preflop3) don't 3 bet here unless you have a clear idea of why you're doing itWhen a 13/3/2 (pretty tight/passive) plays a hand this way, i myself am probably going to become passive. I would probably just try to call down here. If I raise his flop bet and he reraises, Im foling 100% of the time. This is a dry board, not even an OESD for me to talk myself into (as a hand range). I would say this is 77 about 95% of the time. 33 4% of the time. KK .05% of the time, and something you beat .05% of the time. If I'm wrong, Im willing to fold the best hand onc

After averaging a winrate of 14ptbb/100 for the month of april, God has decided to kill me. In 350 hands (THREE HUNDRED AND FIFTY ****ING HANDS) at the start of my session, I was already running 6 (six) BUY INS under expectation. I need to borrow one of Marvin Harrison's guns imo.

This is a conversation I can really sink my teeth into because I've transitioned between so many styles over the past 2 months that I'm like a bisexual lesbian homosexual that just went through a sex change - i get confused. Before, I would limp/call with smaller pairs a lot. Then I talked to Simo, I ramped up my aggression and I became more positionally (and player specific) aware. Still, there are situations where you're losing money by being 100% raise/fold. Now, the problem is, you're OOP preflop, so you have no way of knowing when these situations will arise. I will give examples, and

I know it wasnt his best game, but Keenan was a moron for pulling kiprusoff imo. Thornton had a nice game, as did Roenick, obv. Seems kind of funny that its almost impossible for the sharks to get Thornton and Marleau going at the same time. If the Sharks get clicking on all cylinders, a Sharks v Pens finals would be hella entertaining.

The Florida-michigan Interstate (sh) (10/20)

A couple of thoughts on this hand come to mind:1) On a purely level 1 basis, your hand makes it hard to play this hand tricky. There are a lot of things that villain could have that you appear to be crushing but can easily counterfeit you.2) I think you're ahead 100% of the time.I dont think you can slow play this. I mean, he may end up having you with A7 or A5, but its 3 handed and I really think you have the best hand here and he probably just has some goofy floosh draw. I really think you have to have. Im pretty sure that this is about 14 levels below your thinking, but as I said, you -

I can generally remember all of my big hands for a sessiion (wins and losses) for well over a day (whoopie, you say). It would probably be longer, but the next days session clears the previous days' out. -
Yeah, I really wanted to have the caps win and have the pens play them in round 2, but now id really like to see a pens bruins series, should be great!

Small Hand, Big Pot (sh) (10/20)
IBFT replied to CobaltBlue's topic in No Limit Texas Hold'em Cash Games
I like it if you think you're ahead. (this may sound dumb, sorry, im a dumb person). This doesn't work as a bluff, I dont think, given the pot size and pot odds on a call, unless he has 23os and is just really bluffin hard here. -

Your br is more than most of ours combined. You play at a higher limit than any one here (i believe, i might be wrong, Zach, maybe, depending on the conversion). You always give sound advice and almost 100% of the time you know whats going on.Who cares what people think of your betting? You got your shit together.nice hand, cobalt, won more money than my namsy pamsy ass would have. -
so theres this guy i hate, mostly because he's a retard, plays like crap, and i can't seem to beat him...so Im playing a quick 2 hr session just to get my 200points for the day, and Im up about $150... when I pick up KK OTB. Any how long sub story short, he has AA, i lose $50... anyhow, he raised the very next hand to $1.50. this seemed odd to me, for some reason, so i checked my HHs... Sure enough, he raised every big pair to $2, and $1.5 was something else...so over the last 30 minutes and on 3 tables I took $18 off of him with 84, k9, 27, etc... everytime he raised to $1.50, i 3-bet, with

I know how you feel, trust me. The 100NL day ive posted before happened right as my wife was going on mat- leave and so not only did i lose over 50% of BR, but also a months worth of bills, it was definitely punch-myself-in'the-face-until-i-lose-all-bodily-functions-and-pass-out-in-a-pool-of-my-own-urine worthy...Anyhow, im sure you'll bounce back and kick ass.

I thought we agreed that $100 NL is the devil? Should skip it and go right to $200.

did this happen at $100 NL, Krup?
