  1. I think this is some very good advice.Maybe post some of your hands in the strategy forum to see where you could have gone wrong.
  2. This was played on Pacific Poker. Does the hand converter work for that site as well?Anyways, I did indeed called from the BBAnd unfortunately UTG held 99 giving him the boat and I lost that pot.I had played a hand just one round before that with the same scenario (I was in the blinds) pretty much where I held Q 2 and the flop was 2 2 5, and someone else had 55 beating my trips. Are these spots where I'm bound to lose all my money? Both times for a second or so I did think of them having the boat on the flop but just couldn't get myself to fold.
  3. This is my first time posting a hand so excuse if I don't post it properly. Anyhow, this is the scenario where I'm in the BB and its 3 way.NL$25 Full Ring GameUTG ($23.25)Late Position ($23.50)BB ($25.90)UTG min raises to $0.50 and late postion and myself callsBB holds Qd 8dFlop: 8s 9h 8h (Pot: $1.57)BB bets $1UTG raises to $3LP foldsBB re-raises to $10UTG goes all in for last $23.25BB ??
  4. I believe Todd Brunson, Josh Arieh, Tuan Le, David Williams are some of the names that were associated with this book.I remember Todd Brunson mentioning about his contribution to DN's book in an interview on cardplayer. And the other 3 names I saw somewhere as well. Things may have changed since then so who knows
  5. I would be interested in something like this as long as the buy-in is not too much.
  6. The buy in is usually $100 at your limits. You must have bought in for the min.
  7. I call BS on this one. Sorry dude just don't believe you for whatever reason. And that post seriously looks like a troll post. You say you don't go on tilt yet you can't take any criticsm from a online forum that YOU posted to seek advice from. So I'm pretty sure I know how you're on the tables already
  8. So does this "straddle" have to be started with the person under the gun and then the rest can follow if they wish?Or can anyone put in the straddle at the table
  9. I wouldn't play the $1-2 NL with just a BR of $1500. Especially if you have only been playing sit 'n go and haven't really sat down in ring games before.I would suggest playing in $0.50-1 NL with a $100 buy-in to start. Maybe even $0.25-$0.50 just for a week or so just to see how you do if you want to play it conversatively. Again this is sort of based on the assumption that you have never played cash games before
  10. I believe this book is more for beginners/intermediates and is more of a "light read" to quote DN as he stated somewhere already. The other more advanced book (with other poker players writing sections as well I believe) is more in depth with strategies and will be out sometime in Feb I believe
  11. I got $30 last night and I haven't played on Party Poker for awhile too
  12. Nope I live in Canada and I still got it
  13. I play poker online and I live in Canada. I also use Neteller to transfer funds to and from my poker sites. Does ANY of this relate to me?
