I'm considering signing up for this for my withdrawals on FT. However, I realized that you have to enter in your last four digits of your social insurance # in order to sign up for it.Should that be of any concern?

Bet a bit more on the flop ($1.75-$2) and the turn ($3.50-$4)I would have raised the turn againAs played though I shove the river.

are you still giving out stakes on PS?If so, JustR82 (Mississauga)if not that's cool too
-
Yes it is down...I just got back in now

I'm a microlimit player that plays on FT and PS. I find the players at PS a bit more fishy vs FT. FT is more fast paced as I always see more hands when I start a FT & PS table at the same time.

When villian made this bet I had this feeling that I was beat. But given the way the hand was played I called (putting him on a broken flush draw) and maybe a weaker K. I understand the thinking of betting the river (and folding to a raise I assume?), but being OOP isn't check/calling a better line? I always have trouble handling/overvaluing these TPTK situations. I figured check/calling here would be almost standardResults: Villian flipped over AJo and took the pot

My only notes on villian was that he was a loose player (it must have been from previous sessions) as he was playing pretty tight so far in this session.What would you do here??PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (8 handed) Poker Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FCP)UTG+1 ($26.35)MP1 ($33.85)MP2 ($14.50)CO ($30.05)Button ($27.50)SB ($28.95)BB ($26.70)Hero ($47.85)Preflop: Hero is UTG with K , A . Hero raises to $1, 4 folds, Button calls $1, 2 folds.Flop: ($2.35) K , J , 5 (2 players)Hero bets $1.75, Button calls $1.75.Turn: ($5.85) J (2 players)Hero bets $4, Button

I ended up laying this hand down... I just couldn't put him on a hand that I could beatVillian was playing pretty tight overall, and I figured I must have been beat here Just couldn't see how he could check/call two bets then fire big on the riverJJ+ is unlikely given the way it was played...I put him on a weak 9 like 98s..or pocket 5s or 6s

Hey guys...I'm still pretty new to this so please let me know how I've played so farIs my preflop raise too small? How were my bet sizes on the rest of the streets? What would be the correct play here?Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (9 handed) Full Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FCP)UTG+1 ($6.10)Hero ($24.20)MP2 ($23.95)MP3 ($26.85)CO ($10.30)Button ($26.30)SB ($9.85)BB ($4.65)UTG ($18.30)Preflop: Hero is MP1 with T , T . Sounds like fun...I'm a 25NL sometimes 50NL player too...I would love to join you guys..although I doubt I'm at your level of thinking in terms of poker
-
Good story!I wish I was online when you started the thread cause I would have asked for a stake too! Anyways, what are these chats you're talking about?
-
I just think that at these limits it is usually not very profitable at all to bluff. You will make the majority of your money just playing "ABC poker" and getting paid off when you do make a hand.
-
Good luck everyone!
-
I would fold the turn as well34 or a set is all possible like someone saidIt would be slim that they have pocket 8s-10s and betting when that Ace hits the turn, especially since you re-raised the flop
-
I think you have to fold here His flush draw got there or they are betting 10s full

Well after not playing for like a month or so (ever since Neteller stopped letting Canadians send money to my sites) I've decided to get back into it again. I'm looking to either play on Full Tilt or Pokerstars. What would be the fastest way to be able to deposit and withdraw my money from those sites? I was thinking of just depositing with my credit card and and withdrawing with them sending me cheques. Is that how most people do it nowadays? I believe some of those other sites like click2pay or epassporte have high fees? P

If you know how dumb this idea is why would you post it here? You just want us to help you convince yourself that you can make it at that next level. No need to go off on people who are actually HELPING you but telling you how dumb this idea of yours is.

Might want to have a look at this site www.beatthefish.com
