  1. i appreciate the info but that doesn't exactly answer my question. were you carded? do you look young?
  2. does anyone have any experience with any tahoe or reno casino's not carding? any insight would be appreciated
  3. has anyone else noticed a poker error on page 105? it's a picture that shows a guy who has stood up in excitement becasue of an out of frame king on the turn which gives him "trip kings against his opponent's three queens." both hands are faceup on the table. he holds AK, opponent holds QQ. flop is Q3K. only problem is, turn K gives opponent a full house.the book is good, btw
  4. i tried to stay in character but it's hard being bitter at the world all night
  5. mike caro had an interesting idea in a recent article in bluff
  6. if you always raise with your heads up hands (big pairs, big aces) and limp with your multiway hands (small pairs, suited connectors), you will becometo easy to read. even in a low stakes online MTT... you need to mix it up. and JTs is a pretty good hand to mix it up with. although, with lost of limpersahead of you, it wouldn't be bad to limp along. it's pretty hard to get people to fold medium strength hands preflop in these online MTTs. but if you're first in, JTs is a fine raising hand.

  8. phil gordon's the man. and dave foley is a funny dude to boot. although it is pretty painful to watch celebrities play really badly (for the most part)
  9. if you call their bet and wait for them to show and they simply muck, does that mean that you now don't have to show? since you're hand is the last remaining live hand, do you still have to show your cards to win the pot?
